Colorbar Just Smoky Kajal, Just Grey, 1.2g

now I understood why this product costs less than its lakme eyeconic counterpart. It is practically impossible to sharpen it without losing contents in big chunks. So there goes my money down the drain. Cant express how much I am regretting purchasing this. The color is also is not brown, has a subtle shimmer to it, but no use. It looks black on application. I transferred the contents of the product to a tiny blush box I had. I cut off the ends of pencil...and squished out the contents using a hex key. Now I can apply it using my little finger. That's a lot of work and time wasted and also money.

Its the worse buy ever. I had great respect for Color Bar but what they sent me online is pathetic... the point was broken on opening the cap and everytime I trim it , more points break and fall off, even on application this pencil is pathetic, it crumbles all over... why does the company do this? sent a faulty or poor quality product across... its so distressing... was so looking forward to wearing this colour and all the claims promised....

Not super thrilled with this. This is definitely a kajal and cannot be used as a slightly finer eyeliner as some of their ads suggested. The product comes off too thick and soft, and spreads messily through the day. A lot of product gets wasted since it needs sharpening with each use to get a less blunt point. I haven't tried to use it yet with the smudging end and may resort to using it only as a smudgy smoky kajal (yes, I realise I should have understood the kind of product it was from the name!)

ABOUT THE PRODUCT - Colorbar's Just Smoky - Black Kaajal is a must have in every girls/ladies make up collection. Its by far the best available in the market. It is nice and sleek available in various colours under JUST SMOKY COLLECTION - Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Grey to name a few. It's pencil like in shape with one end having fine tip kaajal and other with smudger sponge to smudge for effect. Capping is of utmost importance so ensure you cap kaajal very well and do not cap it lose for air to enter else it will dry quickly and will be of no use. It truly is one stroke application but smudges after couple of hours may be after 4-5 hours because of pollution dirt and sweat and humidity. Not to blame the product though. You have to play smart such that kaajal does not smudge and yet stays for long (which the brand does). Application is very smooth and tip of the kaajal is very fine for application. Its jet black in colour apt for kohl effect and also as the name suggests for SMOKY eyes. If you are not a regular user then it lasts longg but its expensive for people for day-to-day use yet the best amongst other expensive brands. I am totally happy with the purchase and have been using it for years now. Better to invest in Colorbar's SHARPNER for fine sharpening of the kaajal.**Another biggest advantage - It's Cruelty free, No Chemicals. What can one ask for.**PS - If you have purchased COLORBAR'S DUAL SHARPENER - then please sharpen through the smaller slot/hole which is apt for this kaajal. The other slot/hole of sharpener is for bigger kohl like kaajal's available with the brand.**ALSO please do no sharpen with your stationary SHARPNER. I have seen many people do that. Its a huge mistake. Thats why may be Kaajal breaks and becomes brittle all the time.DRAWBACK - Nothing except for not easily being available and increasing price over the past couple of years against the grams given.PACKAGING - Initially it came in Black Packaging but this time it came is Brown Packaging. Thats ideally what I do as I am not a regular user. And also I apply "very very very little coconut oil" to the tip so as to save the tip of kaajal from drying. Its smooth on application and looks pretty dark..but smudges through the day. You have to sharpen it before every use which wastes a lot of the product. Even worse..the pencil part of it is very hard and hurts the eye if it touches by chance. The lakme absolute kohl one is so much better than this. This one also leaves tiny black particles which enter the eye and cause irritation that is.. if youdont remove the kajal by evening. Irritating! Would not recommend wasting so much money over this.

This product doesn’t look to be original. When it’s sharped, the tip doesn’t stay on even with a small pressure. It’s looks more like it’s melted. I didn’t had option to request refund as it’s a non-refundable product. Waste of money.

To be honest I am not a pro at doing makeup, but this Kajal pencil by Colorbar makes my life so easy because it’s a 3-in 1 product now I can use it as a kajal daily and as an eyeshadow for a smokey effect when I’m going out for parties and as a liner too waterproof, smudge-proof, and transfer-resistant. The built in smudger just makes the application way too easier and creates a perfect smokey eye. This kajal also stays all day long because it lasts upto 12 hours. Totally a Must Buy kajal.
