Very nice light daily moisturizer. I have dry skin and I use in the morning. I think it helps with dry skin and probably other types of skin also.

My skin is very dry and this is the only moisturizer that doesn’t make me break out while addressing my dryness.

This is the best moisturizer for daytime use that I’ve ever used! No scent, leaves skin soft and without shine all day. Magical.

I’ve had Psoriasis for 32 years and have used both steroid based topical treatments as well as phototherapy for the past 3 decades. As a result I’ve developed telangiectasia (a type of Rosacea in which tiny veins on my cheeks are very visible). I’ve managed this cosmetically with Obagi Hydrate, Hydrafactor and IT Corrective Cream. I’ve been using the Obagi Hydrate and the Obagi Hydrafactor for a cool minute. Recently, I decided to order off Amazon instead of going to the Dermatologist to purchase the Hydrate moisturizer. I thought it’d be less time consuming than driving to my Dermatologist’s office right before the holiday. The price was nearly comparable to the Dermatologist’s . However, Amazon was a bit more expensive (shipping). The problem isn’t the cost it’s the fact that the moisturizer has an off putting odor , like sour milk and it is not as effective as the bottles I buy from the dermatologist. I know that one of the main ingredients is Shea Butter which does have a particular scent (combination of nutty with a hint of plain Greek yogurt). But this bottle of product smells like an old container of sour cream that was pushed to the back of your fridge. Not to mention, that after the first night of use, I awoke to find dry spots and the redness of my cheeks had intensified. I don’t blame Obagi, I blame the seller of the product as this bottle (hopefully not batch) was not stored properly or is expired. If you do have Rosacea, Psoriasis or any other skin ailment, I do highly recommend Obagi products, just be sure to purchase from your dermatologist. Otherwise, you’ll be out $50.00 (plus shipping) and have a worthless stinky reminder that you can’t cut corners (even before a holiday) sitting in your cupboard.

I love my Obagi products but, over the past couple of years, they have increased the cost of the moisturizer, removed the SPF so you have to use a second product, and made the amount smaller. I'm disappointed in this trend.

As someone in her early 60s my skin needs different care than it did in my 20s and 30s. I have been trying all kinds of daily facial creams. Most just dried my skin out more. Most promised great moisture. Obagi delivers! This moisturizer is wonderful. It feels great going on and lasts with or without foundation. Love it! Highly recommend!
