The Levitating Broomstick pen from the WOW! Stuff collection pays homage to the original Nimbus 2000 and is a stylish occasional use pen that appears to magically levitate above its plinth using a series of magnets that repel against each other to create a fabulous floating effect. The desktop plinth features a Nimbus 2000 plaque making the Levitating Broomstick pen a practical addition to any Harry Potter fan’s desk. Developed using a miniature ink cartridge to ensure the proportions replicate that of the Nimbus 2000.

Perfect Condition
I'm not sure why Warmth, Thickness and Sheerness are being rated but what the heck gave it 5 stars. I bought this for a friend, the Harry Potter levitating pen. Love love love it! fun thing to have. Got here in record time, which is no surprise since it's a flying broomstick.

Love It
First off, you don't buy this for the pen, you buy it because it's floating Nimbus 2000!!!!!!It write Ok but it's very awkward to hold...because it's shaped like a Numbus 2000...It's not hard to put on the stand, watch the 30 second video in the description and the guy shows you how easy it is.I love it, I'm a big fan. Thanks for the fun desk conversation piece :)

Looks much cheaper in real life
I knew this would be a quirky gift item, but it's definitely not worth the full $30. Item looks very cheaply made and has a big distinct line right down the center of the broom where you can see it was glued together. My item had a noticeable gap in this line as well as a very noticeable white chipping right on top where it is most visible. This probably isn't enough to say defective or broken, but it's almost embarrassing to give as a gift.

Love Harry Potter, but the packaging was a downfall.
I am a collector of Harry Potter merc and this one as cool as it will be to my collection, the packaging it came in was so beat up. It’s a huge disappointment. Only gave three stars because one it’s Harry Potter and I love it and because it’s cool. But man the packaging condition sucked.

Avada Kedavra!
Harry Potter himself would not approve of this toy. It is truly non-magical, cheaply made, and a waste of money. Believe a true Potter fan and don’t be disappointed. Avoid.

Fun item
I read a lot of negative reviews about this item but decided to get my partner one for Christmas. Its definitely better than anticipated. I agree with other reviews that is quite cheap plastic, but it does look good suspended by the magnets. Easy to attach too, and it kind of vibrates as you walk past which is cool. I haven't used the pen but I don't really think its meant for practical use. If you can get this for around a tenner I think its quite a nice addition to a Harry Potter collection.

Good filler present..
The media could not be loaded. Purchased as a gift and wouldn't pay anything over £10 for this item. Good to have on display on a table bedroom. Good for a Christmas filler item if found at the right price. The packaging was fine but was difficult to remove due to x amount of sellotape. It levitates (via a magnet guessing) at a speed then slows down. Ive not captured the slow part. You can only put it towards the pen side for it to levitate if you put the broom part it will just collapse to base.See video and pictures.

well it kinda works
purchased this as a little gift to go towards my son's birthday gifts, he's a big Harry Potter fan and likes to write too, seemed a perfect fit.the box it comes in is nice and makes it eminently giftable if a little awkward to wrap.it is a reasonable quality pen , the stands very cheap plastic.looks nice displayed , and that's pretty much all its good for, while it works as a pen, the shape is uncomfortable to use for any length of time, and the act of getting it back in just the right position to float is a pita , and one I dont imagine many kids will do often-older fans maybe.so now, it just sits, on a shelf away from anything that may knock it as a decoration, and if I'm honest that's probably how it should have been marketed in the first place, the broom head being the pen lid was a nice touch however

Great wee gift
Looks good, My 6yo daughter loves it and regularly asks people to look at it. I paired it with a Harry Potter writing set and she was made up. Great little novelty gift. Has a spare nib in it too.
