This holder looks nice enough for the bathroom counter, but also fits perfectly on a narrow shelf in my medicine cabinet. The hinged lid makes it quick and easy to access. I am using the larger section for cotton swabs, laying them horizontally, which allow me to pick them up from the center to keep the ends clean (since I often use them around my eyes). The lid keeps out dust. I am very happy with this item and will order more for another bathroom.
