Solid built, good weight
The wing nut is cute, it has a solid build, weighty. But I have to agree with some of the other reviews.The angle of sharpening is a bit odd and shallow.I did get it to work on a pencil though and it sharpens the lead fine.

Odd angle cut.
The angle it cuts is a bit odd, and it's awkward to use and the points wear down quickly. Shame, since it's a solidly built, pleasantly weighty sharpener otherwise.

Clever and cool design BUT opening not big enough for sharp point on average pencil...

Nice, High Quality Sharpener
It's well built and I expect to last. The only thing that was unexpected was that the angle of sharpening is rather shallow. Most pencil sharpeners cut at around 23°, this one is more like 30° or 35°. Not a big deal at all, but something to be aware of.

DO NOT BUY THIS
It is a great idea... But it does not function as a pencil sharpener. Perhaps it is a faulty blade or a poor design of the angle of the blade but I have attempted to sharpen numerous different kinds of pencils and it does not work. Don't waste your money on this useless item.

Nice weight, solid feel, fun design.
This wing nut loves this little wing nut sharpener. Stylish and fun, it lives on my work desk. High quality build and finish with a very nice heft.

Sexy but rubbish
This is a beautiful object but very sadly fails to do what it says on the tin. It will not sharpen normal pencils. As other reviews say, it's just too small.

Too small for most pencils!
A rare flop from SUCK. Simply not fit for purpose - wouldn't work with any pencils I had to hand... I can only assume this only works with the slimmer, diary type pencils of yore. Had to return. Shame.

STOPPED working
Thought it was GREAT until after sharpened approx 10th crayon and no longer worked
