Fender Pure Vintage String Tree Kit

The media could not be loaded.  Genuine Fender replacement hardware made in USA as described. I needed a retainer for my E/B strings and ultimately used the plastic spacer-it is taller than the chrome one by some hundredth measure of a mm likely. I used my own 60s-style Tele retainer, not the included bent steel type. String trees, or retainers are always a player preference and no "right" way or position to install them but they're a must for 6-inline Telecasters if you can't stand the overtones especially when playing open chords and 1st/2nd string lines. For a straight installation and to avoid damage, use a 1/16" drill bit to pilot the screw hole once you've marked the location.

Needed butterfly string retainer for my 60s strat. Like the included nylon spacer option but i used the steel one.

I like using OEM parts when I can. I think the price is a little much, but it is a factory part.

Added this to a Fender replacement neck I bought and it works great!!!
