Travel SIM 10 GB + Unlimited NZ mins + 200 mins and 200 Texts back home for 60 Days

We visited NZ to visit a son. We wanted to be able to use our phone out of the US and this gave us that ability. If you have any savvy about removing a phone SIM card and replacing it - this is a breeze. Put the chip in, dial the registration number (in country), It worked! We were able to text and call everywhere we needed. You do get a regional phone number that is nothing like your old one. So, if you want someone to call you, you must give them your number first. We texted the new number to everyone who needed it after we inserted the chip. Well worth the cost. You get about 200 minutes call time, about as many texts, and some gigabytes for internet use.

The SIM is good. International text messaging never really worked for me but I will assume that was my fault. These are available very easily at the airport on arrival at about half the price I paid. In future, I would just buy at the airport.

My daughter took a 3 week trip to New Zealand. She toured both the north and south island and had zero issues using the sim. Very happy with it.

I used the Vodafone travel SIM on a three week New Zealand trip. It worked and had no unexpected fees. For some reason my Samsung Galaxy S9 slowed to a crawl with it. I went to a Vodafone shop in New Zealand to try to fix the problem, but the employees could not figure out why it was doing that. I also constantly got a pop up error message. They couldn't figure that out either. They figured it was a compatibility issue with my American phone. My husband used a 2degrees SIM with no problems. Bottom line is that the Vodafone SIM worked, but it was a frustrating experience for me.
