Cuisinart MCP-7N Stainless Steel Cookware Set, 1-1/2-quart and 3-quart saucepans, 8-quart stockpot, 7 Piece (Silver)

Love these pans! They heat evenly and are fairly non-stick if used correctly which takes getting used to. Heat the pan first, then add oil/butter, then add food. The only negative is they are heavier than a nonstick pan but that doesn’t bother me. I also didn’t mind the price because I won’t have to replace my pans every few years like nonstick. These feel like they will last forever. They are easy to clean and a little Barkeepers now and then keeps them looking brand new!

I got this set of cookware on a flash sale and I am extremely glad that I took that offer! This set replaces my old set of Calphalon Bronze that I ended up disliking immensely over time. I will never buy Calphalon again after cooking with this cookware set. It’s very high quality, beautyful, and I really do feel like a Pro when I’m cooking with it. I’ve had many sets of cookware over the years, and this set beats them all. The Multiclad function of these pans guarantee that your food cooks evenly and that the pan retains heat similar to that of Cast Iron cookware, but with a high polished steel that looks as good as it cooks. I will never go back to non-stick after using this set...I’ve used this set heavily and tested it to its limits, and at the end of the day, it cleans up with a bit of metal polish to look brand new! I’m actually adding extra pieces to my set and plan to be cooking with it for a very long time!

When we moved to an Induction Cooktop we had to replace our set of pots. I looked at many options - All Clad and Made In are very nice but so expensive! Cuisinart pots were of a good quality and seemed to be a reasonable option. I didn’t want to go with the cheapest and I can’t afford the most expensive option - this seemed to be a good mid-range choice and the reviews have been good. I’m very pleased with these pots and the induction cooktop! I find the secret to cleaning them is a) wait until they have cooled before putting them into the sink to prevent any warping, b) soak with warm soapy water, c) clean with a plastic scrub brush with handle. They come out very clean. We do sometimes have residue and minor discolouration due to the calcium in the water but if you rinse with vinegar/water, it comes right off. Definitely recommend!

Update: 8/14/22. These cook really well. I was a little skeptical of the complaints about food sticking. Don’t believe them. It is all about technique and the user’s knowledge about cooking with stainless. The quality of the cookware is also important. The video shows that stainless is nonstick cookware. Just unpacked the cookware. I had an older set of Cuisinart cookware for many years that were not induction compatible but were excellent and performed well for many years. They would not work with our new cooktop. This set is far above my old set in quality, weight and I have no doubt performance. They are extremely well built, beautiful in their appearance and quality. I am looking forward to the first use after our new cooktop is installed and will follow up with a review. For all the negative reviews about food sticking. I have never had that problem with quality stainless steel cookware. That said, you need to know how to cook with stainless steel. Do a search for “how to cook with stainless steel.” Once you know how to control the heat and cooking process you will love cooking with stainless - they are the original non-stick cookware and will never wear out. I sold my old non-induction stainless set in a few hours for a good price. People who know the difference love quality stainless steel.
