Just like the ones in Italy
Taralli became a favorite of mine when I was living in Italy, but finding them where I live now- particularly in my favorite flavor, fennel seed- isn't always easy. I was thrilled to discover these at a reasonable price, and even more pleased to discover that they taste just like the ones in Italy. They're perfect summer snacks, either on their own, or as part of an appetizer tray with grapes or olives, sun-dried tomatoes, a bit of salami, and some cheese.

These are not the very best Taralli I've ever had
These are not the very best Taralli I've ever had, but they are still quite good. And, judging by the ingredient list and calorie count, they are also they healthiest choice I've seen thus far. The price is also far, far better than other choices listed. They do tend to be on the drier side.

Used by date
Watch out the expiration date of this cookie!!!My box contains two stickers. The first/initial layer says used by 08/09/16 and the top sticker says used by 09/09/17. I just can't believe Amazon would use this trick to cheat customers.

Pretzels?? Not so much..
If these were called "wheat crackers", I probably would've given them 5 stars, but they're just not pretzels to me. There's no salt, they're very bland. Not in a bad way, I just don't think that the shape is enough to classify them as pretzels. They're very good with dips and spreads though.

Love, Love, Love These Italian Pretzels
I absolutely love the Rallini products - all of them, but the Red Pepper Flavor cookies are my favorite. They are delicious served with some wine and fresh fruit or just eaten out of the box. They satisfy my wish for cookies when I'm trying to cut back on sugar. The Rallini "pretzels" (I think of them as cookies) only have 90 calories per serving and that's 7 pieces! Also the cookies have ZERO grams of sugar. I have also broken a few and topped my salad with them instead of croutons.

NOT PRETZELS!!!
These are NOT PRETZELS!!! Maybe being 100% first-generation Italian and originally from New York with a mother who made these home made makes me sensitive to that lol. These are actually quite good and yes, the fennel flavor is best :)

Taralli!!!!
I've been hunting for taralli everywhere and so glad to find them here! No, not as good as the ones we had in Italy (maybe it was the atmosphere over the cracker?? :) ), but I think they are a pretty close substitute. A few other brands I've tried are a little doughier tasting than I would have liked, but these meet the crisp factor I was looking for and loads of red pepper spice! Finally. And no, these are not american salted pretzels. So for those who haven't had them before expect something more like a flavored cracker. They'd be great to set out at a party with a little wine.
