Solar Matrix vs Face Halo
Update October 2020:These are holding up so well to continued use. I really do love the black and beige pads! I still don't care for the white ones and they sit unused. But I'm thinking of buying another pack of these and just throwing out all of the white ones. The black and beige pads make this purchase so worthwhile. The bag they come in and the laundry bag are also awesome! I definitely recommend purchasing these.Original review:After purchasing these and having some disappointment with the white pads, I decided to try Face Halo's cleansing pads. My disappointment was that the edges on the Solar Matrix white pads are very hard, and almost sharp. Also, the insides of the pad are kind of crunchy, like there's a piece of cardboard in there or something. After trying out both brands of pads, I feel the difference between Face Halo (I only tried their white ones) and Solar Matrix, is that A) The fabric on Face Halo has a longer nap and feels softer and glides across the skin more easily. B) The edges of the Face Halo white pads are softer. They don't feel sharp at all. C) The insides of the Face Halo white pads are softer. They are less crunchy, although they have a bit of a crunchy feel as well. D) Solar Matrix's white pads cleaned up better for me (less staining). And E) they didn't lose as much size as the Face Halo pads upon washing.I included a pic of the two pads, both in a used state and then washed afterward so you can see the difference after use.All of this being said, I do really like the beige and black pads included in the Solar Matrix set. They are super soft. I wish I could more easily see the makeup coming off, as I only see it when I wash them out. But, that does mean they don't stain as much as the white pads. After having tried both, I would actually recommend the Solar Matrix pads for several reasons: They are cheaper, they come with a storage bag and a mesh laundry bag. There are more included pads in the set. And it also includes the smaller pads (fold over those pads into a half-moon shape to help with the fabric slipping around). The beige and black pads are super soft and don't stain. Even if you throw out the white pads, it's still worth it to buy the Solar Matrix set for the other colors and the included extras.I don't particularly like the tags on either of these products and have been cutting them off. I don't understand their purpose - to hang them up? They bother me. I have a wide, shallow sink, and I leave the used pad sitting at the edge of the sink where it can dry and any moisture can drain down into the sink. After a few days of use, I throw it into the laundry bag and get a fresh one.

Blown away that this actually works as intended!
I am seriously surprised by this makeup remover set. Beside the fact that it actually does what it says its gonna do which honestly blows my mind, it has a very nice carrying case for clean pads and a excellent laundry bag for the ones that need to be washed. I hoped that the makeup remover pad would work but I didn't think it would work as well as it did. I didn't use and soap or makeup remover liquid and I wiped off heavy makeup from my eye like it was magic. I didn't rub hard or even several times. Most of the eye makeup was gone with the first swipe, including my mascara. I had a serious look of confusion when I did the first swipe. I could not believe how well it worked and here is the real test... after I wash off my makeup I ALWAYS go in after with a cotton round and toner and I always have quiet a bit makeup show on the cotton round after washing my face even when I use makeup remover wash and scrub for way to long and this time my cotton round was nearly as white as before I wiped my face!! And it took me much less time to wash my face this time than it usually does. I'd say at least cut in half and soooooo much less messy. I usually get water everywhere trying tu o vigorously scrub makeup off my face. Not this time, not with this makeup pad. I simply soaked it and squeezed it out and then magically wiped off my makeup very easily. I just can't day enough about it. Every person that wears makeup need this and honestly I'd venture to say event person that washes their face, needs this! In case anyone is wondering, I used the tan pad since I had a medium/heavy amount of makeup. I can't wait to try the others. My face also somehow felt softer afterwards which I'm not sure how that's possible but I'll take it. I'm tempted to buy another set just so I never run out. I think I know what all my daughter, mom and sisters are getting for Christmas lol. If you are on the fence about getting these makeup pads, don't be, you will not regret it!

Pretty good
They aren’t as good as Face Halo (not as soft) but they are good for the price.

Very good quality and very nice case to keep everything neat
Growing more and more aware of the severity of climate change I have decided to find sustainable solutions to my daily activities. Removing and washing my face without using a cotton pad is one of them. First, I did not want funny colors so these neutral colors worked perfectly for me. The second thing I like very much is that there are three kinds of makeup remover pad: one for the foundation, one very very soft for the eyes (the black one) and a white one that I use at the end to check that my face is completely clean. The travel case is I found a very nice idea even when you don't travel because it allows keeping your clean pads protected from dust. Regarding the tag, I think it is a little big but I don't care too much as I hold it between my fingers to prevent it to scratch my skin. Anyway, nothing prevents you to cut it if it is too annoying. I am very happy to have found a good alternative solution to cotton pads and plan to buy some for my mom.

okay as back up makeup removing pads
tbh these wouldn't necessarily be my go to make up removers but they are okay enough for me to use when i run out of the wipes i normally use (which is quite often) however, if i could change one thing about these pads, i would have them come in varies sizes.. that would be useful for removing eye make up.. the big ones are just too messy for removing makeup on the eye area.what i do like is that it comes in its own little bag making it easy to organize/store away as well as take for travel. The bag is really there (i believe) for once you need to wash the pads, which i also find eco friendly (being reusable) and convenient (not having to worry about makeup transferring on a mesh bag used for washing clothing)in my opinion, this was a good buy regarding price as well as quality of the product.
