Actually works very well! The people who complain about it not rotating don’t understand the physics behind it. The pot has to be slightly off balance to create rotation. If your plant is somehow perfectly centered it will not rotate. You can see this if you water the plant only on one side, the extra weight from the water will cause increased rotation. We have had no issues, but it will affect your phone when in proximity. Most notably, if you do slow motion recording (at least on iPhone) anywhere in the room it will cause the phone to record a very strange video. Other than that, nothing noticeable. It is a strong electromagnet so be careful with electronics (don’t put it by monitors or a TV). I think it is very beautiful and my fiancé is pleased, so I’m happy.

It came in the most beautiful gold box of medium high build quality that protects it flawlessly, when i set it up and tried the first time with one hand i didn't think it was plugged in because it snapped down like 2 magnets, when i cupped the cup with both hands and gently placed the back of my hand on the plate i felt it balance made my hands horizontal and pulled back it was floating and it spins slowly, it a really thick tea cup sized nicely moulded cup of some sort of plastic. When i was showing my 90 yro grandmother how to balance it she tried to grab the cup before i could warn her and it snapped down loudly scaring her so bad she had to sit down, she calmed in a few minutes and decided it was neat.

The pot used to spin slowly. Now it doesn't do that anymore. Don't recommend this costly product.

Its easy to get it to levitate， mine wont spin around in circles. Its does half way circle and stop. Without putting anything in the cup its not rotating， it does not half rotations that would look better if it just not rotated at all. sucks.

Works, but the pot keeps spinning. The spinning effect gets annoying after a minute or two.On top of that, after a couple of months of use, I can now hear a faint - but nevertheless annoying - clicking sound, once per rotation.

I told my girlfriend that this is a contender for best useless purchase of 2019 and she completely agreed. This is wicked cool. Does exactly what it advertises!!!I put a light air plant in mine with some pebbles at the bottom and it’s loving it. Seriously awesome!!!

It's almost a Zen inducer. Cannot walk by without watching for a bit. Friends don't know what to make of it, must be some sort of tricks. Passing a piece of paper between the pot and base convinces them it's real. Great item!
