One Stop Outdoor 3/4 Inch - 25PSI Pressure Regulator, Drip Irrigation Water Distributing Regulator - High Flow

This was easy to install and use, but it failed while I was on vacation less than two months after ordering it. Water had been apparently streaming out of the pressure hole for several days all over my deck. As you can see from the picture the whole unit started coming apart too. My water pressure from the City tests normal, so I think it was simply a defective item. I have since chosen to replace it with a different brand!

Used indoors in a basement so a very protected environment, yet after less than 12 months use I was woken at 4am by a basement water/flood alarm. Fortunately I was at home and was able to get to the basement quickly where I found this plastic device had cracked completely open on the household water side (not the low pressure side) and was gushing household water across the basement as fast as my well pump could produce it. Lesson learned: never use plastic fittings at household water pressures.

I blew out my garden hose hooking it up to a patio misting system with a small water line similar in size to drip irrigation lines. Before it blew, the hose would spew water from the connection to the misting line. This small, inexpensive item sold for drip irrigation systems did the trick. No leaking from the connection and no more ruptured hoses from too much water and no place to go.

Like a lot of other 1 star reviews my product split within 2 weeks. I have a water pressure regulator for the whole house so the water pressure to the regulator was not exceptional. The housing is just too weak.

Product works great. Didn’t leak even without Teflon tape. Worked to reduce pressure so my irrigation system wasn’t blowing hoses every time I turned it on.

PSI at the spigot was 60 PSI, still 60 PSI coming out of this regulator. No reduction in PSI at all. I'll see if I can still return them (I bought 2).

Worked for two months and now it is cracked. Similar one from Rainbird had been working for thee years and bought that again to replace this.

Perfect for stepping down pressure from hose bib to 1/4” hose to water plants and soaking.
