Love this kennel and love the larger size.
This item was exactly what I was looking for. I got the super large size so both my small dogs could be comfortable in one kennel. We already have a couple of these but a little smaller in size. I like the quality and the different zippered screens. My dogs happily sleep through the night in this kennel with a super cushy mattress and soft blankets. They did not like sleeping in a plastic crate. This kennel would not be good for a dog that doesn't want to be in it as they could easily tear through it if they wanted to get out badly. Mine just bark or scratch on the side to let me know they want to get out. I don't ever put them in this when I am away from the house. I would imagine if you need to crate your dog while away from the house it would be better to have a plastic one and not a soft sided one like this.

Love this crate!
We bought this for our 3 month old puppy for when we travel in the car for safety. We bought a comfortable bed to put inside and she loves it. She is now 11 months old and sleeps in it at night. It is light for transporting from car to our room. Adding another so we can keep one in the car and one in the house. The mesh siding provides for ample airflow and visibility. Breaks down easily. Highly recommend this product.

Inside velcro may be an issue for chew-prone dogs
I wish the velcro to hold the flaps up weren’t on the inside. It makes it susceptible to being chewed- however, otherwise durable and lightweight and I think it’s great for a car travel crate.

Edited 11/17/24 - 180 DO RECOMMEND! Not chewproof
As noted this is an updated and edited review: the seller reached out to us after the initial review and sent us a replacement for free - but frankly we wanted to wait and use the product for a stretch before updating this review. There was no point in retracting what was true before if we couldn’t attest that it was, in fact, a one time fluke. We can confidently now say it was and this product is fantastic. We’ve used it three times for traveling and once for a quick fix when we needed to crate our dog and didn’t feel like moving his crate from the lower level. It’s still going strong and since we’ve been able to use it multiple times, all the features we listed in our original review have been very helpful and enhance the user experience for the better! Our dog is very comfortable and content in it, the frame and fabric are still in good shape with no bending or sagging, the zippers don’t tug at all, and it’s easy to clean inside and out. If you have a dog that is already crate trained, you could easily replace a standard metal crate with this; and if you have a dog that prefers their metal crate covered or secluded for that den-like experience, this would be a great option especially for the price. We plan on ordering a second one within the year just to have a back up on hand should we ever have a need for it. All in all, it’s a good product, they provided good customer service, and we do recommend this crate. This has all the makings of being a fantastic crate, but it is not chewproof unfortunately. It took less than a few hours for the front facing zipper to be fully chewed through and this isn’t by a large or particularly chew-loving dog. The zipper is plastic and the teeth were bent out. Once that happened, it was a done deal. We bought this to travel with and missed our return window, otherwise we would have given it one more shot because of all the features we did love (durable fabric, easy to assemble and transport, attractive design, multiple entry points) and hoped we just got a fluke.

Mediocre crate
I’ve had too many soft sided crates to remember. I use them for travel, dog trials, and crating of dogs when we have non-doggy visitors. Sturdiness and ease of set up are important to me. This crate is a 3/5 on both of these criteria. The end of the internal set up poles have to be placed into a built in cup/inset and then tightened. It is hard to visualize the junction of these two pieces as they are tucked under the canvas cover. At the same time you are needing to stretch the crate a bit wider. Then you need to rotate a “screw” type of pole extender. Then repeat the process at the other end of the crate. A shock-cord or spring loaded type of collapsing pole works much better. (On my last crate, the shock-cord pole arrangement lasted longer than the zipper and canvas). Set up of the crate being reviewed easily takes 5 times longer.Once set up, this crate feels wobbly and unsubstantial. The first time I used it, my Cocker Spaniel tipped/rolled the crate over.Last but not least, the handle to carry the crate is not well placed and the crate leaned either into me or outward depending on how I grabbed the handle for transport.I only use this crate at home where it can be tucked into a corner and braced by a piece of furniture. I bought a different crate for trialing/traveling with the dog.

Thin material
Seems great if your dog will just sit there. My one year old puppy is going to tear right through this very thin material, so I’m going to need to return it.
