I bought this instead of the $30 option hoping to save a few dollars since its just a car tripod. This is great quality and works great. I have yet to use it in the car but I used it on my glass desk and I could not even rip it off the desk. I'm sure it will do the same on the car window. It also has a gear type locking system (I don't know how to explain it but it has like ridges) so it is very secure and won't unloosen and the camera fall over. The suction cup is very strong just make sure to take off the protective plastic first or else its not as strong and won't grip. I never write reviews but I am so happy this is amazing and I saved a lot of money compared to buying the one with more reviews.

I bought this to record a nationwide roadtrip and it was above and beyond what I expected. Super sturdy and incredible suction. It’s been on my windshield for nearly a year now. Incredible product.

Not bad. Used it to mount on a window a Panasonic HC-v770 Camcorder. Hasn’t dropped yet (since 2 months ago).

Great concept but it broke after actually using it only 5 times...I had it in my car but never used it and it broke right away. Disappointing

Suction doesn’t work. Realized I had to pull the top piece up to be able to open the suction part all the way. Still didn’t work. Asked my boyfriend to figure it out, still didn’t work. I can’t imagine even if it did work it ever being strong enough to hold a camera.

It’s an awesome product. Works perfect.
