105 PD-R7000 Performance Road Bike Pedal

This is an easy install on my 105 groupset. I have a thing for matching components. Easy enough to clip in and out of. Definitely an improvement over my SPD cleats for my road purposes.

I've ridden over 100 miles with these pedals and have had zero issues. They're my first pair of clip pedals, actually. They were easy to install as long as you remember that the threads are opposite of the typical "righty tighty, lefty loosy" - otherwise, you'll have a hard time.

Not much to say. These are excellent quality pedals as you would expect from Shimano. I like the wide platform. Complement my 105 setup.

Pedals perform as expected. You will likely need to adjust tension. The left side was harder to clip out than the right side. Cleats pop in as expected.

Picked up these pedals to move from flat pedals in order to generate more power and ride with more efficiency. They are everything the description states. They are perfect for a beginner rider as you are able to adjust the tightness of the pedals to allow you to detach from them more easily. Once you get used to them you can then tighten them to the degree that you are most comfortable. They are very functional and adds a lot of functionality to my bike riding.

If you are looking to get Shimano SPD-SL clipless pedals than the 105 R7000 series is probably the sweet spot in terms of performance, weight, and cost ratio. Built with carbon fiber and having a metal kick plate allows these to be light while being durable. The included yellow cleats with 6 degrees of float and the ability to crank the tension to low make learning clipless pedals pretty easy in my book. I will say that the unit I got from Amazon must have been defective since I could barley clip in and out. I thought it was due to me being 140lbs so I brought them to my LBS and they confirmed that the tension was at it's lowest setting and when a 175lb mechanic tried to clip in and out with his own SPD-SL cleats he had the same experience as me. The next unit I got worked perfectly so I would say my first unit was maybe just defective.

What you spect from Shimano: robust and works like it should.

It's shimano :) Bought them to try if their are more performant than for mounting bikes, so their are indeed transfer power a bit better and also they are perfect for indoor pedaling since clits are plastic and do not damage your floor

Recieved a used item. Can see all the oil and gashes. Very disappointed.

J ai reçu item usagé, les pédales avaient de l huile partout et il y avait des cheveux sur les pédales. C est inadmissible surtout pour le prix.
