Easy to read
Book highlights some of the Gods & theirAdventures. It's a must read before the Eddas

A Great Start on Norse Mythology
This book is a fun way to introduce Norse mythology to high school students. The story form in a more approachable English keeps their attention while still teaching the Ideas of Creation/Flood/Destruction stories and the idea of hero and trickster tales. I highly reccomend this book as a textbook for high school students.

Great collection of lore for anyone.
Fantastic book. Padraic Colum (Title is pre 1929) brings many of the most enjoyable stories from our (Germanic/Norse Heathen) lore. He brings the stories to the reader in a format suitable for children which is an area left sadly unaddressed in our religion in regards to reading materials. As with any interpretation or translation there are a few areas throughout the book I have caught myself arguing but given the nature of this title there is no reason to go into those here, overall this is a largely enjoyable and quick read. The kids (and adults) will be sure to enjoy these versions in the style and language they are written in. This title is right where it belongs on my book shelf next to Odd and the Frost Giants by Neil Gaiman.

A Great Introduction to Norse Mythology
This was my first encounter with the Norse gods, and it was delightful to read. It comes off as a huge collection of short bedtime stories for older kids, with each one interlaced into the next. I highly recommend this book!

At last a book that offers the major Norse Myths in readable narrative form. A must-read for young people.

Amazing story. Detailed everything. You don't have to be a kid to read it, but i think it's totally suitable for children.
