Very disappointed!! My husband works on a paving crew and we had purchased these boots before and they were great…the first pair lasted him 2 years so we ordered another pair that started coming apart in under a week! We were told return the boots and a new pair would be sent…we returned the boots only to be issued a refund for only HALF OUR MONEY! That was not what we were told! The reason given was that the boots were repairable…so I asked for the original boots back and have heard nothing from the company!! You’re rolling the dice if you order these boots

I wear an 11, but reading the reviews on how these boots run a little large I ordered a 10.5, and it fits perfect. Put them to the test and they work out GREAT! I walked out on the hot mat behind paver to loot a spot that needed fixing, everyone looked at me like "WTF are you doing?!" And then they noticed I wasn't leaving any tracks and then it was "WOW, where did you get those!"lolAfter walking on tack they do pick up some stones and blacktop a little, but once it's time to clean them off it's soooooo easy....a few swipes with the scraper and your good to go. HIGHLY RECOMENDThey look great and well built

These are just a tad large for my hubby, but I think it's because they are wide width and made to be worn with thicker work socks. In terms of heat resistance, these are the best boots on the market for asphalt work. He says he cannot feel a thing even if he walks slowly across 200+ degree F asphalt. He says they are more comfortable than any made-for-walking boots he's tried, and he loves the composite toe vs steel toe which he isn't required to wear. I am happy that I no longer find balls of asphalt in the garage since the soles are flat and don't pick up gravel and other things in the tread. Happy wife, happy life!

For 100 bucks if you work in Paving you gotta have em!!I’ve tried them all Die Hards to Redwings.For the money they are the best!!!I’m currently a cold roller man 2200 hours+ on the pair I have. They do run big!! But that’s way better than too small!!!IfYou are looking for a new asphalt boot. This is the ticket!!

Después de 10 años de trabajar en la pavimentación con asfalto no he encontrado ningún otro zapato o bota mejor que este, estas botas son muy ligeras, su suela lisa hace que el asfalto se limpie fácilmente, resisten el calor muy bien y son duraderas a mi me duran un promedio de dos años aunque supongo eso depende mucho en el trabajo en el cual te desempeñas ya sea operador o labor.

Don't feel the heat from the asphalt in these, plus nice to wear for finish work due to the treadless design. I've daily worn these for a year and finally had to replace them.

I pave asphalt in south florida where we have a sandy asphalt mixture. These boots leave flat prints on the asphalt which allows me to walk on the asphalt while raking without my feet getting hot. The footprints get rolled easier than any of my coworkers boots. I have purchased my 2nd pair and all my co workers want these now. Excellent boots for the job. My only drawback is the laces they just dont seem to last me as long as the boots.

My husband loves it it's comfortable and he's not complaining of how hot his foot when he's working it's amazing and I highly recommend it....from the husband....So I work on non-metal roof tops all day in all weather, so far only very hot weather. The roof tops can get steep to walk on, so slip resistant is the most important quality to look for in a shoe. These boots hold up just as good as any other shoe on a roof, which was a worry of mine. As far as heat- I wear darn tough wool socks with my boots which also helps- but my feet no longer get heat blisters. I'm no longer dancing around because my feet are burning. There are also times where I'm working on a flatbed truck throwing shingles, and the metal can also get extremely hot. No problems feet getting hot. These boots are a life saver and a must for anyone who works on a hot surface!
