The mix rehydrates well and releases a rich, earthy aroma that works beautifully
Cooks & Co Dried Mixed Forest Mushrooms are a strong choice if you want depth of flavour without fuss. The mix rehydrates well and releases a rich, earthy aroma that works beautifully in risottos, sauces, soups, and stews. The pieces are generous, not dust or crumbs, and they keep their texture once cooked. A little goes a long way, so the 500 g pack lasts well and offers good value. These are dependable mushrooms that add real character to everyday cooking.

Very useful.
On the jar - ingredients are - slippery jack, jelly ear, oyster. No porcini. Need to buy those separately. Very big plastic jar the size of old fashioned sweet shop jar. I use a lot of dried mushrooms. I particularly appreciate them when I run out or forget to buy fresh ones, and when cooking with the microwave they are indispensable. They soak up the liquid from steamed vegetables and the juices from chicken and meats so no spillage from hot liquids and getting scalded when opening bags, as well as all that added flavour. Add to that dried onions, garlic flakes, split peas, and dried vegetables for soup mixes and you can produce meals crammed with flavour in the microwave in half an hour and often less.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Cooks & Co Dried Mixed Forest Mushrooms are fantastic! The mushrooms have a rich aroma and great quality – once soaked, they look just like fresh ones. I made a soup with them, and it turned out absolutely delicious, full of deep, forest flavor. I’ll definitely buy them again – perfect for soups, sauces, and risotto! 🍄👏

Quality and Value for Money. Store cupboard staple.
These are a wonderful staple to add depth to stews, soups and other dishes. Especially if you are vegan, vegetarian or have dietary restrictions. Dried mushrooms add a depth of flavour that can be hard to come by. They last for ages and have a nice range of different mushrooms. They have been pretty much always in the house for about 5 years. We never let them run out.
