The Blood and the Glory

I purchased and read this book when I was traveling to Nigeria for ministry. When I returned, I discovered few days later around 3:00am when I got up to use the bathroom, I felt a solid presence of someone in my house. I knew someone was downstairs. I was alone with three of my children upstairs. With the fresh revelation of the power of the blood of Jesus, I said: In the name of Jesus Father, I cover my family in the Blood of Jesus and returned to bed with no second thought. In fact, I was already dozing off when I uttered those words. In the morning, I mentioned it to my children that someone was in our house last night. I purchased a bottle of virgin olive oil as a token of the Blood of Jesus, blessed it and anointed all the entrances to our house. From the balcony upstairs, I poured the entire bottle in front of the basement door (that was the entrance the person used even though their was nothing like forced entry). I poured it in front of the door, I declared: If death hurricane, disaster, angel of death gets here, they shall see the Blood and shall pass over. No unclean thing will enter our house, the LORD's heritage; no evil shall befall us and no plague shall come near our dwelling"."I tried changing the lock to the entrance that leads to the basement, I messed it up. So I took a very heavy dining table we had and blocked the entrance, and brought my beddings downstairs. Exactly at 9:00pm, the door moved but the table stopped it. I noticed it few minutes later. I continued to anoint every entrance : windows and doors everyday with the Blood of Jesus and declaring that if disaster, earthquake, hurricane, death, burglar comes upon this house, they shall see the Blood and shall pass over. I followed this up with daily sharing of communion with my children every morning before they left for school.while on this, my second daughter sneaked out of the house around 5pm on a very windy evening. It was a bit dark and sneaked out thrugh the basement to buy something from a s nearby store. She had the basement key. So she unlocked it, and carefully locked it back so I would not know she sneaked out. But when she was returning, the door was completely ajar. She reported the situation to me. At this point, I took a heavy wood (a piece of the double decked bed that I could not put together) and blocked the door -one end resting upon the doorknob while the other end rested on the heating and cooling system. There's no how someone could push it open. a couple of nights later or more, they came with a car around 3:00am and began to drill through the door. I noticed it later even though my daughter whose room upstairs was towards that end tried to tell me that people were drilling through the basement door. The next morning when I went there, I saw red finger prints on the door with signs of forced attempted entry...I don't knw what they used, but it left caused little damage on the door edges as they tried to force it open with a kind of metal.Now this burglar (s) became restless and started coming at odd hours. My daughter leaving messages on my phone. My battery was down and I was 45mins away from home. As soon as I charged my phone in the car and was returning around 7pm, I discovered that since 5pm, the man had been trying to break into our house. Our house phone was not in order and my daughter was sending the message to me through computer. She was fifteen as the time. She could not call the police. She was hitting the neighbor's wall to help her call police. Our neighbors seem to know what was going on and it looked like something planned (not sure of that). as some as I arrived and packed my car in front of the house and entered the house, my daughter said: shhh! listen. I listened and heard noises on the basement door, someone trying to break in. I asked them to close the door behind me and jumped into my car and drove straight to the backyard. We lived on a row of townhouses, and so our neighbors who lived behind us also lived on row of townhouses. Our basement door faced their backyard so that from our balcony, we are face to face with them. I left my car on as I stepped ut of my car in front of my basement door and began to scarily take one step, still pleading the Blood of Jesus, and another towards my basement door. As I was slowly moving towards the door not being sure what might happen to me the next minute, I managed to get to the door and ty to push it to see if the man succeeded in entering into our basement, but it was still locked. As I turned to return to my car, two people were standing next to my car watching me... a man and a woman. They were my neighbors from the opposite rows of the townhouses. I asked them if they saw the person trying to break into our house: they did not see anything, they said. As I was about to return into y car, I saw the bugler. A strong looking white male in his forties, wearing a brown winter jacket with his two hands in his pockets. He was directly face to face with me. he had just emerged from my next door basement and as he was looking at me, he was moving very swiftly towards the front yard. I jumped into the car and drove back. I would have to drive two blocks to return to my house bc of one way traffic on our street. But as soon as I flashed my car light on my door, I saw this man trying to open our house from the front and soon as the light shone on him, he jumped out of the door and within a twinkle of an eye, he was gone. I pursued him with the car but he vanished in my neighbor's basement again for as soon as he got there, he disappeared. I called police. They warned me for all my actions instead of calling them at the first signs of these especially when they left those marks on the door. I had to confront my neighbor, the man looked like her. I know she lived alone, but this man showed up from her basement. She denied knowing anything.Another day, the man showed up again in the evening time between 5 and 6pm. I think he does that when I go out. According to one of my daughters, as he was trying again to force the door open, a small girl from an opposite house screamed. He was startled. My daughter dashed to the balcony and saw the same man walking away. they called the police and the description was the same man. One of my white opposite neighbors who watches every "ant" that passes in the neighborhood finally related to me that they asked the man why he was trying to break into my house when they saw him, and he answered them that he was not going to hurt me but wanted to ask me questions. I asked my neighbor why the man comes at nights, and through the basement door instead of the front door. Why does he come at night and not during the day; and why does he run when someone sees him. He threw his hands in the air and said I don't know and walked back int the house. God delivered us from this man...whatever was his mission.Three weeks into my anointing our house with the Blood of Jesus and still consistently declaring that no evil, death, burglar, hurricane will touch our enter our house, Hurricane Sandy struck. We watched everything on TV. We lived in Norristown in Pennsylvania at the time. Not even a branch of a tree fell on our end. Many blocks away, we saw fallen trees or branches, and some people lost light. We were completely safe. All we had was light rain and wind. The LORD rescued us out of that place. he made us leave that place in a hurry. It was like delivering the people of Israel from Egypt so that the left in a hurry. This is a very interesting book! Billye Brim is a very staunch Christian and has brought up so much info that I was not aware of! Her Biblical interpretation is amazing and all backed by the Bible as well as her prayerful divine intervention. I follow her website and You Tube video’s as well. She is extremely well versed and experienced in Jewish beliefs and traditions. She frequently goes to Israel and takes groups with her. A friend I know went and thoroughly enjoyed her trip! Billye is also an extremely powerful prayer warrior as well. Thanks for a thought provoking book which answers some questions I have often had over the years!

I couldn’t put this book down, and it’s chock full of such anointed teaching and insights about the blood of Jesus and how to effectively apply it to your life. Get it; you’ll be glad you did. And if you have any spiritual sense about you at all, it’ll be a book you read, re-read, and refer to regularly. I know I will!

I bought this book after seeing Billye on Sid Roth. We, as the Church, tend to forget things revealed to and once cherished by previous generations. God used this book to open my eyes to the power of the Blood of Jesus and to inspire me to "make much of the Blood" in my prayers and spiritual warfare.Highly recommended!

Since the beginning of this book it engaged me to understand the blood of Jesus. I’ve heard the blood of Jesus but the way describe in this book 📖 it make it clear how powerful his blood is with prayer. This book I recommended for someone that wants to take their prayer to the next level with God.

Dr. Billye Brim has done an amazing job showing us the revelation of God's glory and the Blood of Jesus in this book. I will buy more to give to my loved ones. This book is a MUST for Christians who want to know God more intimately and understand the promises of the Blood of Jesus.

The book is fine but I have read only the sections I was interested in. Was not completely sure about pleading the blood of Jesus was bibllically correct. Still not convinced and will have to make further research. As a related topic, was amazed by an evangelist claiming (not in this book) that God told him to loose the blood of Jesus into situations to destroy evil. I'm convinced that he is right and have adopted that practice in loosing the blood of Jesus in the lives of the terrorists, our leaders, Christian ministries, etc.There is tremendous spiritual power in the blood of Jesus and the scriptures does say whatsoever we bind on earth shall be bound in heaven and whatsoever we loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Haven't finished the book yet but, nevertheless, it has been a great help to me already. The testimonies are real eye-openers, especially the personal ones concerning her sons; it has been a revelation to learn what can happen when you 'apply' the blood of Jesus. I have already implemented this in my own prayer life and it feels very right. I watched Billye last night on the Branson Victory Campaign on God TV, and this lady is used by God. She has been in God's service for a long time (she's 74) and she knows her stuff, so read her book.

So glad to have come across this book, this is not just a must read but a must have i wish all churches would teach what billye has put in this book. This book will help any who are struggling with attacks but will also help you to draw closer to God and help you understand the bible & pentecost like never before
