Great boots for asphalt work!
I've been putting these boots through the trial by fire. So far I've used these boots for two months straight, for 10 to 15 hour shifts walking on hot asphalt that would destroy regular work boots, and I have to say that they are an excellent purchase. But I would absolutely recommend getting insoles to save your feet, having your preferred insole is a difference maker. With these boots you barely feel the blistering heat. I did notice another customer with a bad review with sole sliced, so I'm cautious of stepping on hard metal edges or dragging my feet when not on the hot asphalt. If these boots make it through the hot summer paving season then I'll call it a win.**4th month usage update** The second picture is the update photo, the boots have been holding up great! There is little bit stitching that wore out on the top of the boot, but I would expect that from any boot that is put through that much work. All in all, the boots look like they will hold up through the paving season.

My go to asphalt boot
They run a little big in size but when you have the correct size then you’re set. Cheap, comfortable, light, and very durable considering they last longer than redwings and cost less than half the price. They can last about a season and a half and that’s considering being in mix half the time, covered in concrete, then mix again. The only asphalt boot I will continue to buy.

Good asphalt boot
These boots are light weight and moderately durable. They last me 8-12 weeks on average before the soles develop tears. The boots are large so I would recommend ordering 1 size smaller than you wear. The laces are probably there weakest part. Make sure you have replacement laces with you because they are going to break. Other than that for the money they are a good buy. I have been using them for 8 years and I usually go through 3 pairs a year.

Best Boots for Asphalt!
I am on my 4tb Pair. My boots go through a lot of abuse, but they typically last 1 year for me when compared to other brands that last 5 months with how I walk. My boss now pays for these boots for me since he considers them an extension of my job with the compactor. The composite toe meets certain job sites hard toe rules. When doing patches out of our single axle dump truck, the boots do an excellent job insulating my feet. Shoe laces are very durable, but I personally have to replace them about 9 months in. If you work with asphalt, these are the boots you want!

Uncomfortable
The most uncomfortable boot I’ve ever put on my feet. I’m on and off my feet all day. By the end of day 1 I had blisters on my toes I had to purchase a different pair of boot for work. They need to work on the comfort side of this boot. People that work in the asphalt industry work long hours.

They work for paving
This is the second pair of these that I’ve bought, the first lasted two paving seasons, I’d suggest only one cause about half way through the second they developed a hole on the bottom, and we’re starting to fall apart but for for a little over a hundred dollars they did great, I’ll definitely keep buying them in the future.

Protects your feet from the heat
My husband and son each buy a pair a year. At the end of the year, they are covered in asphalt. The guys say that they are comfortable and support their feet and ankles very well.
