I’ve had this product for 2 years now and can confidently say it’s exactly what it should be. It’s pricey for what it is, yes, but does its job perfectly. It holds *almost* the whole 35 lb bag of food for my pup and keeps it fresh for the 3 months it takes him to go through it. The seal is great. Scoop is outstanding and of great quality; it magnetically sticks to the bottom of the lid and shows no signs of wear to this day. Some food can get stuck in the rim and where the scoop goes, but I write it off as mostly operator error and it’s easily cleaned. The lid is slightly awkward to open at first, but after a few times using it you’ll easily have the muscle memory down and it’s a non-issue thereafter. It looks good in any home and blends in seamlessly. If you’re looking for a durable, stylish container for your pet’s food, this is the one for you. You won’t regret it.

I couldn't wait to write this review. This is the best purchase I've made in a long time. I love it! I ordered the XL size and had to return it for the L. I have two cats and neither will eat what they perceive to be "stale" kibble. I had kibble bags stacked all over my small kitchen having to re-roll and reseal them everytime I fed the girls (which means dishing out small quantities several times during the day). It was a pain. Something had to be done. I've tried the plastic type but it didn't keep the kibble fresh, plus it never held all the kibble I would by to buy in order to get a better price. Then I discoverd this baby. Whoever designs or this company didn't just design something to sell, they designed it to meet a specific need and they produce the design in various sizes. This product is quality. Stainless steel; looks nice in my kitchen and cleans up all those bags; has an air tight seal to keep the kibble fresh so no need to roll out and re-roll and seal those many bags; has a scoop readily available so I'm not searching for a scoop; it has convenient handles on both ends and rollers on the bottom so it's easy to lift (even filed with kibble) and to move from one room to another for cleaning. Quite frankly, it couldn't be more appropriate nor could it be better made. I am delighted!!!! I filled it almost all the way up with 28 pounds of kibble (equivalent to two large bags of kibble). If you don't have this, GET it in the size that is appropriate for your need. If you have a big dog, don't hesitate to get the XL. For cat owners, I'd recommend the L. I WILL be ordering from this company again. I like their designs and products and their focus on quality, use and appearance for users of all types. BUY IT!

I don’t typically review purchases, but I must say that this dog food storage container is definitely worth the price. It is very well made and blends in with my kitchen. I have always had dogs and my old plastic container had served me well, but was falling apart. I kept looking at this one, the price and reviews. I have always been very satisfied with simple human products, so finally decided to buy it. So glad I did. My mischievous Whippets and Basset Hound can’t open this one or knock it over. It looks so nice and really keeps the dog food fresh. Easily holds the 33# bag of food I purchase. Highly recommend. As much as dog food costs now, it’s worth storing in a well-made container.

This dog food bin is sturdy, solid, and attractive enough to keep in kitchen space. There is no assembly required. The lid latch is secure. And! there are wheels on the base, should you need to scoot the container to another location when the bin is full (remember: this is a 40-pound size). The product is a little pricey but worth it.
