Expensive but the size and options work perfect when you replace the carrier all the option neede

Great crush sleeve eliminator for the 8.8
Couldn't get a crush sleeve to go even with 200 ft/lbs on the pinion nut and that much torque gets scary with only 1/2in tools so I decided to give this eliminator a try. It took about 45 mins of trying different shims and assembling/disassembling but I was able to get it right in the middle of preload spec.

Easy replacement for crush sleeve
Great replacement for crush sleeve, could use a better variety of shims though.

If that can tell another Jeeper, for this kit I received 12 shims of different thicknesses; 0.113 - 0.116 - 0.120 - 0.121 - 0.124 - 0.127 - 0.130 - 0.133 x 2 - 0.137 - 0.139 - 0.142All of these shims have an internal diameter of 2.244 and an external diameter of 2.992I was worried because I could not find the right information on the dimensions of these shims (Yukon does not specify much, it's a shame) and their locations (inside or outside of the bearings), so I read various opinions contradictory following the questions asked. So I took the risk of ordering without certainty but in the end it was with great relief and great satisfaction to receive the Shim Kit I needed to restore the Dana 44 HD rear axle of my WJ 4.7L from 2002 .A big greeting to all from a Jeeper from France

The product reviews for these are all over the board.It fit my 2013 F150 fineI bought these to shim the differential carrier LEFT/RIGHT inside the pumpkin, as product description.It seems like some people bought these for pinion bearing spacing and all sorts of other things.This kit has 2 spacer packs with about 0.340 of shims in each. There is a left and right shim in each spacer pack that is about 0.050 or 0.075, one of these has a lip to hold a bunch of the thin 0.005 shims.Pick the Left shim, add some of the thin spacers, match the Right shim. Measure. Assemble another shim pack for the other side of your carrier. Mount in the differential. See how it works.It took me about 3 tries to get the correct spacing when original factory shims didn't fit after rebuilding the rear.Check your ring/pinion backlash to specifications.Buy the gear marking compound to check your pattern on your Ring and Pinion afterwards.

Saves tearing down your diff to change the crush sleeve in the event of changing the yolk.Worked great on 2015 jk Dana 44
