Tamiya 1/32 F-15E Stike Eagle Bunker Buster

This model turned out amazing! I purchased this because the F-15E was my last airframe when I retired from the Air Force after 24 years. My only issue with this build was a couple of steps were confusing, but I worked through it. There are a lot of options for configurations and I like that.

Another beautiful kit from Tamiya, great details perfect fit, nice sturdy metal landing gear, very nice kit.

I ordered the Tamiya 1/32 F-15E Strike Eagle Bunker Buster from a seller in Japan, and I was blown away by how smooth the experience was. Not only was the kit about $20 cheaper than buying in the US, but there was also no delivery fee — and incredibly, it arrived in less than a week! As for the model itself, it’s exactly what you’d expect from Tamiya: Outstanding detail throughout, with sharp molding and high-quality parts. Great value compared to US pricing. Well-packaged and delivered quickly, even internationally. This is an excellent kit, and I couldn’t be happier with both the product and the purchase experience. If you’re into large-scale aircraft models, I highly recommend this one!

If you know, then you know about the Mud Hen. This is the best as can be done in plastic at this scale before resin and decal sets can be added. This kit is the basis of museum quality display.

Came when expected, new unopened box. Everything looks to be good. For a plastic model kit, seems very expensive. My son cant wait to get started!

This model is very sturdy, and highly detailed. Its on par with some of the nicer pre finished models by JSI, the only exception is you have to paint this yourself.

This product has two disadvantages. The first is that the shape of the ejection seat is not detailed. Unless you're going to make a pilot seated, you'll need a upgrade resin ejection seat. Second, it is not possible to select the status of ailerons and flaps when assembling except the tail wings. Except for the above two disadvantages, this product is perfect. Except for additional armament, molds were made in 1993 and are now quite old sprues, but the surface texture and detail are excellent even in the current standard. It includes metal landing gear struts, and the fuselage and main wings are firmly fixed with screws, so reinforcement is not required. The product released in 1993 did not contain medium-range air-to-air missiles, but this product has a very faithful armed composition. Although the CFT is made integrally with the fuselage, it is impossible to separate it, but in reality, you can hardly see the F-15E without the CFT, so I don't think it matters. The consistency between the parts is also good. As a result of matching the parts to each other, there is a slight step difference between the large parts, but this is superior compared to the products of the same period and is good even compared to the Revell, Hasegawa, and Italeri products of the 21st century. No ejection defects occurred. Overall, this product is far superior to Revell's 1/32 scale F-15D/E and has many advantages compared to GWH's 1/48 scale F-15E. Personally, I think it's the best F-15E strike eagle model. I'm quite pleased. The delivery speed was also fast and it arrived safely.

Die Strike Eagle war ein Geschenk für meinen Bruder, der sich sehr darüber gefreut hat. Das Modell selbst genügt höchsten Ansprüchen und kommt, wie von Tamiya gewohnt, mit allerlei Zubehör (Metallfahrwerk, Echtgummireifen, Schnur für die Radkeile, ufm.) und hochwertigen Decals für mehrere Versionen. Alle Teile sind äußerst hochwertig verarbeitet und weisen keinerlei Produktionsfehler auf, so wie man es von Tamiya erwartet. Die Anleitung ist sehr übersichtlich gestaltet und jeder Arbeitsschritt ist gut erklärt / dargestellt. Dennoch ist das Modell nicht für Anfänger geeignet, sondern richtet sich ganz klar an Fortgeschrittene / Profis. Als Geschenk für den 14 jährigen Sohnemann ist es daher weniger geeignet. Sicherlich eines der besten Flugzeugmodelle von Tamiya!
