This Weruva dog food looks like shredded chicken with veggies. My dog loves it.

We have quite the discerning little Mini Dachshund who's got her heart set on surviving solely on steak bits & cheese treats for the rest of her natural (and pancreatitis filled) life! 😂 She refuses all healthy foods... she even refuses the not so healthy foods too. Seriously, she'd Wear rather starve to death than eat anything out of a can or a bag. We used to feed her only prepared whole foods specific to her needs but our schedules have gotten so busy we just can't do it as much as we'd like to anymore.. After multiple attempts at (slowly) switching her over to a commercial food (and many, many days of watching her literally turn her full bowl upside down in rebellion) We finally found a food she loves (that isn't bad for her!!!)Her favorite is the "Lamb-urgini" and the occasional "love me tender" She can smell when we open a can and comes running... I have to admit, it even smells good enough to make me hungry!We still mix the wet food w/ some leafy greens, boiled chicken, and her probiotics... but I honestly don't think we have to. This stuff has been a lifesaver! No more tummy aches!( and no more begging her and waiting around hoping she will eat her dinner!)We are officially in love and will be sticking with this food from now on.

Looks like human grade food, real chicken pieces. Our dog loves it.

UPDATE Jan. 2022 (after almost 2 years of use) -- so i still feed a few spoons of this mixed with high quality (if there is a thing) of kibble. but, i can only feed her Love Me Tender and Funk in The Trunk b/c she turned her nose up recently at the Fowl Ball and all the other food has fish - salmon, tuna or worse - mackeral. we both got Ciguaterra neuro toxin poisoning from eating poorly (my fault) thawed Mahi Mahi. so when she eats fish products, it causes a relapse and so she pants and gets watery eyes.and like others have noted, the cans have been coming with notable dents. that is something i blame on shipping. but still. she has begun having runny eyes lately but no way to know if it's from this food. as well as the fact she walked away from the Fowl Ball, which was just weird. smelled okay to me but i don't want to chance it. sadly, the fact folks are asking the source of the food and Weruva won't tell us is pretty horrible. will begin looking for another brand.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I would prefer if these were a greater variety, as the case has just 3 types that i can tell, - with red, pink, and green labels. and the local holsistic pet store does not carry this size cans of Weruva, though they supply many others. My pup LOVES this food and it stays fresh in fridge (with a silicone lid) for 4-5 days. I mix 1/2 - 3/4 C of kibble with this wet food and and a bit of boiled chicken. she licks the bowl clean for hours after. guessing the ingredients are wholesome and safe, but who can read the fine print??

Great product, be aware these are only 10 oz cans don't be fooled like I was. Also the cans are very flimsy and extremely hard to get the product out. I have to use a spoon to scoop it out versus just dumping it into my dog's bowl like I can with other canned food. The 14 oz cans are more sturdy than the 10 oz.

My dog has eaten Weruva dog food for years. The food is made in Singapore where the standards for dog food are very high. I thought we would give the variety pack a try. It doesn’t say on the can that it’s patee style. Just super gross and a terrible smell. The kind we usually buy has shredded chicken and sweet potatoes. It actually looks like you could put it on a cracker and has no dog food smell. I recommend Weruva dog food but not this variation.

This product is the nicest and most interesting for my dog. I know they are healthy for her, and she is attracted to the taste.

Dog loves this! I add 1 tablespoon to her hard food and it is gone! Without she will eat only when she is starving!! Saves hassle an worry! Spoiled Dog!
