Detail King Woolie 3 Piece Kit - 18", 12" & 8" Woolie Brushes - Perfect Set for The Dirtiest of Wheels

I rarely, if seldom, ever write reviews because I'm highly critical by my nature. When I do write one, its because the item I purchased exceeded all my standards and had garnered my attention in a significant way. These brushes from Detail King are hands down the best in in the industry. Right from the unfolding of the package they were shipped in, I was immediately able to discern that the brush handles and the brush heads themselves are of outstanding quality. I'll begin with the handles. They are extremely ergonomic. The handles seem to be fabricated from a fiber glass composite. They are solid in construction and have a metal type feel to them but without the added bulk of metal, making them ideal in the weight spectrum (they're not too featherweight where you feel as if though the handles will break and not too heavy where your arms will tire out from prolonged use). Also, my need to be worried about the handle getting rusted over time from contact with wet chemicals or water is obsolete since its not metal. On to the brush heads. There is a reason they are called "woolies" and it has to do with the fact that these types of brush heads are exceptionally soft like real wool (so there is no fear of marring delicate finishes of your rims) and unlike like real will, the fibers in the brush won't break down over time. So not only are you protecting your investment, but you are sparing yourself the expense of having to buy a new set of brushes each time. Are these wheel woolies pricey? To some it may seem so, but price shouldn't be a prime factor in making an investment on car care tools such as these. Are they worth purchasing? Depends what your expectations are for wheel brushes and how far you are likely to compromise protecting your rims. I truly believe they are.

Biggest size brush does not fit between my calipers and the barrel of the wheel. Prepare yourself to be using the kit as a whole. Other than that they work very well.Very sturdy and well made.
