Candied lemon and orange peel in small bits for baking
This exactly fit the description, tasted really good just out of the container, seemed nice and fresh, and worked out well in my baking, giving my cake a fresher taste.

Gross and stale
Don't waste your money. Product was sticky, stale, and gross. Has a nasty fake quality to the flavor, like it was soaked in lemon oil or something. Make your own, you'll get a better product.

It makes bannock bread tastes like fruit cake
Bought this to add along with raisins in the bannock bread since my wife and I both like fruit cake so its good stuff. I generally add a table spoon to the mix and still got plenty. Now it comes from England and might take a while get here it is worth investing in.

Just what I needed
I don't know why mixed peel is so hard to find in the US but none of the stores seem to carry it except during holidays (maybe). Happy to find this.

When You Need British Groceries
The Italian peel is a superior product, but ASDA is the mixed peel I remember from childhood. It blended perfectly with my rum soaked fruit. Pricing from the UK was a bit pricey - I could probably get it for less than $2, but adding the cost of an airline ticket... The peel is an essential contribution to the cake texture and flavor. It was eaten in two days so I'm thinking it was enjoyed.

Open on arrival.
This is how it arrived. Smashed open in the packaging. Can’t even get a refund. Merry Christmas.
