I don't see why not.i used my one for to extend my lead from the pc tower.it was all ok. hope this helps.

Will this cable charge my smartphone?

If your smartphone accepts this connector then yes. I think it is highly unlikely that this will fit a smartphone though. You need to see what charging socket is on the phone. Android and Apple use different connectors and the connector on newer android phones has changed from the earlier standard.

Can i charge a torch with this as mine had a male to male ends and i need to replace my charging cable ?
