50mm Quick Release Plate Fits Arca-Swiss Standard for Camera Tripod Ballhead (Pack of 2)

Used this on my Rebel T4i works perfectly. This is the piece I was missing on my tripod. Glad I was able to get 2 replacements. Easy to use and set up. The size of the plate and mounting screw were correct for my setup

This aftermarket replace shoe fits the Neewer N55C tripod. It fastens the camera to the shoe via 1/4" screw that can be secure via a coin, or the built in d-ring. One caveat, if using a Canon G7X the shoe needs to be used where the long part of the camera body goes along the short side of the shoe. Mounting the camera on the 50mm side of this shoe doesn't have adequate grip due to how the rubber is configured on this shoe (the camera sits between the rubber). A camera with a larger frame than the G7X probably won't have this issue. This is a 5 star product for a larger camera frame, but for use with the G7X is a 4 star due to how the camera sits between the rubber when mounted on the 50mm side.

It is in fact an adapter from the screw to an arca attachment. Nothing more, nothing less. No need to spend big money when these cheap ones do the same job. I'm pleased with them!

Excellent quality for the price. Hard aluminum and very heavy. It just fits on my tripod, which by specification uses 50x40 mm plates, Koolhoafa K-08.. I was worried that the 38.5 width of these plates were going to be too narrow, but it barely fits and must be slid into the dovetail. Had to remove one of the bottom screws, but otherwise works. Normal operation allows drop in from top, then tightening.

I bought 2 lower priced Arca Swiss clamps (with plates) to convert two low end tripods, one from GPX, the other an older Targus, and each have similar, looking quick release plates, but may not be compatible with each other so decided after some research to go Arca Swiss as they are a bit more universally accepted across most brands, even the lower end ones. These were in an Amazon pouch in a plastic pouch and were well finished, the size I needed (50mm) and one when mounted to the GoPro and into the Utebit clamp, fit well and thus gave me 2 extra plates, one as a spare, the other to mount a tripod base from GoPro for my GoPro so it can be placed on a tripod or GPX variant of the Gorillapod as well as my monopod, which has no quick release plate head so will pick up another 2 clamps to convert those to Arca Swiss, all that and not need to break the bank right now. These plates when mounted, you'd never know they were a different brand to the clamps themselves, a benefit of Arca Swiss mounts.

I haven't used these yet, but they do seem like good quality. Heavier than I expected and made of metal. Should be stout enough to lock down whatever you want to.
