SUPER BRIGHT!
Definitely need protective eye wear for this thing! Hung at 5', this will veg a 4x4, but it would take 2 at 2' from canopy to flower a 4x4. Lights up the room when the door is opened! Very healthy growth, great canopy penetration. Highly recommend!

Sub standard performance
My old blackstar was not that great and eventually the diodes burned out after less than one year so I thought to try this new one. Diodes have not burned out, at least not yet, but the growing performance is pretty weak and disappointing. I can't recommend this product.

I am very pleased
These lights are bright at just the right frequencies for blooming stage. Used in tandem with HPS, expect greater coverage to penetrate the canopy and yield more bountiful harvests! I am very pleased

Grows Da Kine Buds
LED grow light technology is improving rapidly to accommodate medical marijuana home growers. May be obsolete in six months, but for right now - this light grows da kine buds.

fantastic results for pretty much any type of veggies
fantastic results for pretty much any type of veggies, durable and long-lasting. the chrome series really is exceptional, much better than the more fragile older small-led blackstars. did some lux meter tests, the chrome series is literally almost double the lumens of the old blackstars per watt, and nearly quadruple the lumens of the cheap ebay led grow lights. add that to the fine-tuned light wavelengths, and you have a very efficient light that is better per watt than an HPS. also relatively low heat, which is always good.these lights run at around 200 watts (somewhere around there, i forget the exact number, but it's significantly lower than the 270w advertised). four of these 6-bank chromes are about equal to a 1000 watt HPS.it's an expensive investment, but they last a long time and need no maintenance.gotham hydro is also a terrific seller, friendly and informative.

Incredible results
This light produced the best top shelf OG you can get,I was amazed everytime I opened my converted armoire,produced big hard nugs with a hell of alot of crystals, this is an incredible light.
