UPDATE Read This! Works great! Best deal I have found for unlimited IoT service
UPDATE / ADD:I have now bought a 2nd card for my Raspberry Pi for IoT purposes. You really need to do your homework with this stuff. This IS NOT a SIM you are going to pluck in your HotSpot and take off surfing. It is not for that. This is intended for IoT devices using LTE CAT-M1 and NB-IoT protocols. They are slow and high latency but that is perfectly fine for devices that are sending small packets of data. Also, this runs on the T-Mobile network so make sure T-Mobile coverage is available where you intend to use this. Also, the 64K speed is a LIMIT only. It is not a guaranteed speed and you likely will get slower speeds because there are many, many factors that affect it. And it's T-Mobile providing the backhaul.Original Post:I got it and followed the instruction to activate via email. Within a few hours I was up and running. It was activated and plugged in the APN to my device and it worked like magic. You can't beat it so far for $40 a year of unlimited data. only 64K but that is all you need for IoT projects. You could use it for occasional send of an email message that is short but forget trying to surf the web. This is not for that.If you need an IoT Hat for your Raspberry Pi that works Awesome, look no further than SixFab dot com.

stopped working and no real support
I bought this card for IoT devices (raspberry pi stuff) to potentially use for several dozen stations. While it initially worked well this didn't last. The project had some hiccups and I turned my test device off for a few months. When I turned it back on the SIM card would not work anymore. It could not get a registration on the T-Mobile network. I triple-checked all the settings, tried the card in another device and in my phone. With an appropriate app I could watch the phone try to register to T-Mobile towers in vain.I email tech support which was quick to respond with basic "have you done this, try that" type of stuff. When I responded with technical details and screen shots... crickets...I've now purchased a different SIM card for my tests. I plugged it in and was up and running in no time. This one has real people support. So while the IoTDataWorks SIM card worked initially I can't recommend it. Maybe if you keep it going non-stop it works, but my experience was not such.

Latency is high, but it works
Works for me. Activation occurred within 24 hours for two different cards I bought a few weeks apart. I expected that I would not get a routable ipv4 address since T-Mobile's network is ipv6 native, but they will indeed give you a routable ipv4 if your gear requests it, so that's nice. The one downside is high latency. It's 70ms just to the first IP hop, then another 30ms within T-Mobile's network. Then they route out of Chicago even though I'm on the west coast, resulting in a total latency of 200ms. This is probably okay for IoT/embedded/ssh but it could definitely be better.

Good So Far
So far so good. It was the easy button. In my case there was no issues with APN or anything, I just put the SIM in my device, powered it on, sent an email with the three bits of information that they asked for and several hours later it just began working.

LiDAR
This SimCard is amazing, worked great for our GreenValley International Inc. LiGrip H300 LiDAR sensor and our LiBase GNSS reciever.

Doesn't work everywhere
GPS did not work and we were stuck trying to figure out how to get from point A. To point B.Fortunately after driving aimlessly for a few minutes we got back online and found our way.. Better get mint or something else.. this maybe good as standby.I am not able to return and would like seller to contact

Works for my remote surveillance
It works better earlier in the day, then in the afternoon the connection seems to suffer. I don't know the exact issue, but suspect being an MVNO on the T-Mo network makes it susceptible to throttling in my area due to congestion.

Excellent customer service
Had an issue setting this up on an android device, but CS helped with resetting sim, initializing and getting this to work properly once installed into my Mammotion mower. Been running for a week with no connection issues even through heavy rain and thunderstorms.
