The fit and finish of the machined parts are excellent. Much better than I expected. The only downside is the lead screw for opening and closing the vice jaws tend to bind slightly. But not so much that it becomes a problem. (Thatโ€™s the reason for 4 stars, not 5) A small amount of lubricators should correct this. There is machining schmutz on every surface, and every nook and cranny. You'll have to clean out every hole that was tapped, every surface; any and all machined surfaces. On my vise, Right towards Maximum open, the vise binds, and has to be overcome, so not completely smooth operation. Overall, not a bad little vise, will do what I need it do, but I'm a little disappointed in the Value.
