Does work very well.

I have used these pads many times on elderly family members who have very thin skin. They help with wound care where their is the chance of skin tears trying to get a bandage off or trying to get a new bandage to stick properly. They are well worth the money and trouble, both for the patient and the care giver.

The packaging is different but the same product. Works great. It would be nice if they were available in a larger size so we wouldn't need to use 2 or 3 each time.

I use to keep the INF pads on my wrist and thumb down. The edges of the pad pop up because of the curve of my body but using these before applying them keeps them stuck down snugly. INF is similar to a TENS unit. These really help the pads make good contact with your skin.

My skin was being burned by acid coming out of the hole in my stomach and I already had horrible tape burn from the tape used to hold the bandages on. I was in constant pain. Then the nurse showed up with these skin barrier wipes. They protected my skin from both the tape and the acid. I can't believe the difference it made. I don't know why someone did not bring these to my attention sooner. I've used Preppies for two weeks with no more pain from the acid or the tape.Nurse Andrea, you are a Goddess!
