After installation the sound was deeper and slightly louder with better air flow and as a result I upjetted the main jet in the carb to a #90 and shimmed the needle jet with one washer. Both recommended by 6sigma jet kits. However I had to replace the stock carb with and adjustable air/fuel mixture carb because the stock carb was not adjustable and the mixture was too lean at idle and initial take off. Also longer bolts had to be purchased for the side mount of the muffler. Over all mid range acceleration improved but take off and top end remained the same.
