Seavenger Abyss 1.5mm Neoprene Diving Gloves

I work in the field as a science tech. Used these in Belize collecting samples and they protected me well from any thing trying to sting me. I really liked that they held their shape when wet and didn't get hard when dry.Most gloves I've used in the field got sloppy when wet and hardened after first dry.I usually wear a large/xl lab glove. These might have seemed a little tight but I didn't notice any size issues while wearing them. Only made them a little difficult to get on at first. The were comfortable during extended use and I had excellent dexterity and grip.

I have used these in a mountain stream to help catch crawdads. And I've used them at the coast while body surfing in the Northwest. I will say both times I haven't been disappointed with their performance.

They seem like they will be good gloves. I read how to measure and ordered an extra small. The right hand fits but the left hand is almost to small. If, I would have measured both hands I would have ordered a small. Left hand is 7 3/4 in my right hand is 7 1/2 in wide. I bought these for shoveling snow off the roof and being able to work the switches for the snow plow . Diving gloves get wet but my hands don’t get cold. Other gloves are either to thick, don’t repel water, no grip and my finger get cold. For me they just work. The 1.5 neoprene isn’t to thick and I can feel what my fingers are doing. Not clumsy. I don’t know how well these will hold up because I have never purchased this brand before so, I gave 3 stars. After I have used them I will redo my review.

I bought these for use when biking, to keep the windchill off. But they let the wind in more than my non-neoprene gloves and were terrible -- even when biking in only 50F weather! Am returning them. Also, they're cheaply made. Inside the fingertips, at then end, is some rough stitching that feels like debris. But turning the gloves inside out I see it's just large seams that are sticking out.

My wife and I snorkeled with these in the Galapagos Islands this past month. Water temps 68-70, which is "cool". We used 5mm wetsuits, neoprene dive socks, and 1.5 neoprene caps. These gloves rounded it out and we were "comfy" and protected. with just a little practice, the dexterity to operate an Olympus Tough Tg-5 was pretty good. The colors help identify your buddy. Recommended for conditions described!!

SCUBA trip for Mexico was the reason to buy, but take my advice: get the angler gloves where the tips of thumb and index can be exposed to work camera and dive computer. Yep..after first time trying to use underwater camera, ditched the gloves in vest and never used them. Sizing, I have XXL workglove hands, sized perfectly.

I used these gloves during a recent trip to Phuket Thailand. I made several dives including 3 wreck dives. The gloves are comfortable and I felt my hands were protected at all times. I was also able to manipulate all my gear, (computer, flashlight, compass, etc..), without any difficulty. I would recommend these gloves if you are diving warm water and want to protect your hands from coral and other sharp objects in the water.

These are perfect for what I was looking for. Snorkel and scuba. Especially snorkeling I get scared of grabbing on to one of those dang sea urchins. I definitely feel like these will protect my hands from pokes. I ordered a size small and they fit perfectly. I’m a ring size 6 for reference. I will update this review if anything changes.

Small is still quite large. I wear a size 7 glove and thought the small would be okay. They are large fitting.The fingers that fold back don't lay flat out stay, often in the way when fishing.Perhaps a smaller size, if available, would have been better. No good for my application.
