This Alemite 308730 hydraulic coupler has a narrow profile, a 1/8" NPTF (National Pipe Thread Fuel) female end, and attaches to the extension of a grease for the leak-proof transfer of lubricant. Having a maximum operating pressure of 10,000 pounds per square inch (psi), this coupler has a triple jaw assembly that with a slight pushing action secures it onto fittings for a tight seal while the lubricant is pumped into the fitting. It has a rubber seal for leak-proof transfer of lubricant, and its narrow outside diameter is suitable for limited space applications This coupler fits onto grease s that inject grease into standard grease fittings and are used for applications such as lubricating motor vehicles, construction and industrial equipment, and aeronautics. Oil and grease s are handheld tools that inject lubricant (dispensed from the barrel or cylinder cartridge) into metal mechanical assemblies. Electric and air-powered grease s can dispense large volumes of lubricant in commercial applications, while battery-powered (cordless) grease s are more suitable for mobile and remote applications.
