Great replacement for Alumax framed shower door.
Perfect replacement for the towel rack on an old Alumax framed shower door. Includes screws. However, the screws are not long enough if you use a finger pull on the other side of the shower door. The screws are 10-24 machine screws. They are just below one inch long. A 1 inch or 1 1/4 inch screw should do the job with a finger pull on the other side of the shower door, so you may need to buy new screws. Also, the rod was too long. I put painter tape around it and used a hacksaw to cut it down over the painters tape.

We ordered this to replace a broken one. Exactly as the one it replaced. Solid quality.

Universal shower door handle
The handle is universal and be cut to size as needed. It worked out well for me because my shower door was manufactured back in 1960's. I couldn't find a replacement handle until I found this one. I used a hack saw to cut it to size and it fit perfectly.

Acrylic pieces break easily. Built to fail.
We purchased this door for a shower remodel three years ago. The acrylic/plastic pieces break and need to be replaced about every 18 months. It gets quite expensive.

Quality is good
Looked for in our local Home Depot & lowes, no one had it but amazon! It was easy to install, priced good & is better than the original one , that only lasted three years. So glad we found it!

Framed Sliding Shower Door Chrome Towel Bar with Clear Acrylic Brackets This is plenty long enough for a standard size door. I cut it down to the size I needed. It looks great, matches the original perfectly, and has returned the door to it's original looks and usability.
