Make sure you have an Apple power cord, mouse, and keyboard handy
I am a Mac user through and through. Since almost as soon as Apple entered the scene. My Macs tend to last a very long time. In fact, all of my Macs still worked, last time I tested them. Even the laptop I bought 15 years ago second-hand from a coworker still works, although it does not hold a charge. But this was the first time I had purchased a refurbished Mac. Needless to say, I was worried that this would be a big mistake. The Mac arrived more quickly than promised. I unpacked it and plugged it in with the provided cord. Well. It did not start. I played with the cord. Tried several more times. Praying the whole time. Finally, it started. The keyboard and mouse were not Mac standard, and I know that on some of the newer Macs this can be a problem. This system would not recognize the mouse. I had to complete set up using VoiceOver Utility. There was no mouse recognition upon completion. Finally, I dug through my stuff until I found an old Apple mouse that barely worked. Still, it was enough. I finally figured out where to turn off VoiceOver in System Preferences — Accessibility. No thanks to any instructions.I migrated my data. There were no problems. Getting tired of the slowness of my old Apple mouse, I tried the mouse that came with the computer. Sure enough, now the Mac recognized the mouse. So, just so you know, it is wisest to have an Apple mouse on hand initially. Also, I would recommend having an Apple keyboard. Then your startup procedure should go much more smoothly than mine did.I finished everything and shut it down. Now, it would not start up for anything. For anything! I played with the cord. Nothing. Meanwhile, my prayers that I could get this to work became more numerous and frantic. I felt strongly compelled to purchase a new power cord, as that was likely to be the problem. I did for $15. Of course, I had to wait for it to arrive from Amazon. When I got the new cord, it seemed to plug in securely, which was a good sign. Still, praying, I got the new cord plugged in and the machine started up!I'm hoping that was the full extent of the problem. Otherwise, the machine seems to be in good shape.So. The power of prayer. But, just so you don't have to go through all the stress I did, I would recommend that you have an Apple mouse, keyboard, and power cord on hand, just in case the ones that come with your computer aren't getting the job done. I would recommend you have them in advance so you do not have to have the scary experience of thinking you just wasted hundreds of dollars. That said, it could save you a considerable amount of money if you purchase a refurbished Mac. If you are on a budget like I am, it might be worth it.Three stars for the Mac. For power of prayer, full stars, but there's no rating available for that.

The iMac of 2011 put up for sale in 2019
Please be aware that this is a computer from 2011. That is not at all clear from the description.

Dusty INSIDE the screen. :-( otherwise OK and a bargain
This is a mid-2011 model as advertised.Everything works OK, and I was able to upgrade for free to a newer OS with a google search leading to the correct App Store page. The only problem that I have so far, is that the beautiful, gorgeous, big screen has dusty hand-prints on the INSIDE OF IT.Now I am going to have to get the kit to remove the screen properly and clean it, which is a pain the butt that I was not planning on. It has a few dusty fingerprints (enough to identify someone, LOL) on the right side, and one huge full handprint with all 4 fingers on the top left side. It’s totally distracting when the screen is darkened in those areas. One positive thing: it had slightly more RAM than advertised: instead of four 8MB modules, it has two 16MB and two 8MB. I guess that’s a good thing, but I am probably still going to max out and get new ones that all match. All in all, the price was right. I just wish it wasn’t dirty INSIDE the screen because the kit to properly and safely remove that huge screen is like $30.00 because you need high strength suction cups and the proprietary Apple screwdrivers and such. Overall I am satisfied, but could be happier with a clean screen.

Awesome Purchase
This IMac is like new. Shipped in a very well protected box. The mouse and keyboard are not apple however they did pay attention to detail and sent a mouse and keyboard that look almost identical to the apple product. Now on the the computer it self. I am a huge apple lover from phones to laptops to desktops. I love almost every product they make simply because they are built to last. This IMac does not support the latest OS which is OS X Mojave. However it supports MacOS High Sierra which is a great OS. Apple is still pushing updates for the High Sierra and still back software for it. The computer arrived un-damaged and when unboxing you realize that you just bought a massive computer. This is a great deal for what you are getting. This IMac new when first launched would have been 3000+. If your on the fence about buying it. Just do it the seller really paid attention to detail. It was super clean and wrapped in plastic. No scratches or dents it looks as though it was bought brand new and they found in a warehouse and shipped it to me. Everything runs perfect. Thanks!

It is an older model but is a great starter Apple computer.
Yes, I know it’s a refurbished older computer. It functions very well. No glitches. I was nervous when it arrived because the box was damaged, but to my surprise it was packed very well in air cushions. It meets my needs to run photoshop cc and Lightroom from the adobe creative cloud.

Motherboard died!! It’s a brick!
I purchased this iMac for my mother after hearing the quality of older macs. I trusted that refurbished meant that the seller went thru the machine and checked everything. After using the unit about half a dozen times it stopped turning on. I have had a ton of macs in the past so I went thru all the troubleshooting. Turned out it was a faulty motherboard.Since I am past the return window I now have an expensive paperweight.

Absolutely a great buy for the price.
This is a mid 2011 27inch iMac with it I received a generic wired keyboard and mouse. The highest update for OS it can except is the High Sierra, But that works just fine for me. For this computer’s age it works extremely fast and very snappy, great color display. You would never know it was refurbished product there’s not a scratch, dent Or ding on it it looks brand new and works as brand new. Absolutely a great buy for the price.
