What is going on Telic???
I love Telics. This is the 4th pair I have bought. I reordered the same color and size as last time, however these are too small! Not only were they too small but they were coated in an oily substance and the contour at the top has changed. I don't know if they have changed manufacturers or what but the ones I just received felt gross with the oil on the shoe on my feet - not sure if washing them will get the oil off as I am sending these back. I have reordered one size up and hopefully they will work. Other reviews have said they are running small so I'm not sure why Telic has changed their sizing unless they have changed who manufactures them. The last set I bought (1 blue, 1 black) they both fit perfectly (both size small according to my shoe size 8). I thought the shoe fairy came in and switched out my black pair (no one else I know wears these so they couldn't have been switched) and I thought I was loosing my mind because the black pair was way too small when I went to put them on one day. They were not left in sun - they weren't in extreme heat. I have NO IDEA what in the world cause it!! I am attaching proof of the shrinkage between my old pair of blue and black along with bottom of shoe to show the "S" size. The new pair that I just received not only has a decepancy in the size but the contour at the top is not the same as you can see in the final two pics.I'm at a loss...

Sizing is different now... smaller, tighter & less cushioned
Even though I ordered the same size as another pair that I've had a couple of years, this pair is uncomfortably smaller and stiffer. The straps are tight and they're a bit shorter and narrower. WTH?? They're also covered in some slippery, oily film that was gross on the bottom of my feet. They also don't seem as cushy as my current pair of the exact same style. These just aren't as good as the old pair. Also, there was a little notch cut out at the toe of one of the sandals. I'd be afraid that this would grow into a tear in the foam before long.Back they go...Why do shoe companies take a winning formula and change it into something worse and weirdly sized? Orthaheel went the same way and their shoes just aren't the same quality as they used to be.

BEWARE >> Run small otherwise good until they SHRINK.
I have worn Oofos for the last few years. A friend told me about this and that they are US made (always my preference). Only have had them a few days but generally happy with them. I think the sizing runs on the small size. I am male normally wear a 11.5 to 12 got the 2xl which supposedly is a 12. If the foot bed was any shorter I would return them. It would be easier if they just had typically sizing. Otherwise all is good.UPDATESo I liked the Telic fine very comfortable size run small and inconsistent, I bought black and grey and the grey were a little smaller than the black. Got used to the smaller fits NOW THE BLACK ARE SMALLER THAN THE GREY. I rinsed them off and put them in the sun to dry they literally shrunk like 2 sizes. So now I have a pair of grey that are slight tight but OK and pair of black that I need to give away. I don't mean the straps got a little tighter the entire foot bed shrunk, so that my heels now hung off the back about 1/2 in inch.Flip-flops that shrink in the sun what a concept! Full disclosure it was a 100 degrees that day but shrinking shoes? Really feel cheated out of $45. Wanted to stay with Made in the USA.

Better than 3 other arched sandals I tried
Better than 3 other arched sandals I tried, including Ooofos, which were just way too aggressive. But I didn't listen to everyone about them running a bit small, and I ended up with a size that is just the tiniest bit too small. Although my feet are like an 1/8 of an inch bigger than size 13, I still get 13 in everything. At worst it takes a little break in for them to fully fit. That could happen with these, but... I don't think it's the length of the sandal that makes them feel small. I think the heel is a bit too sunken. So you feel like you're falling backwards. Well it gets worse when your heel is just on the edge. So I think these sandals are simply better in a larger size, even if they seem to fit perfectly. So YES, LISTEN TO EVERYONE, GET A HALF SIZE BIGGER. I just ordered a 14, we'll see.BTW, why does no shoe maker make half sizes above 11? That's just completely ridiculous. That's why I end up with these issues, because I have to choose "a tiny bit small 13" or "definitely too big 14". If they had 13.5, maaaan would I have had some perfectly fitting shoes my whole life.

THEY SHRUNK IN THE HEAT!
THEY SHRUNK!! I bought a pair locally and LOVE THEM!!!! I have never been able to wear flip flops with the thing between my toes- these are so comfortable. I was going to Disney and thought I would buy a back up pair w/my Amazon Prime. Took them and was very bummed they were a little too small. But passed them along to my daughter who has a little smaller feet when we went camping. They fit her, she wore them for a day or two. LOVED THEM. However, while in our tent, the heat shrunk them! My local-bought sandals in the same tent, did NOT shrink. This probably explains why they didn't fit me in the first place. Probably over-heated in transportation?? And one shrunk more than the other - so I can't even pass them along to a smaller foot...I did buy another pair locally -- still love them!

Best flip flops I've ever had
Best flip flops I've ever had. This is my 3rd pair (I have had grape and navy, and they are still going strong- they look worn after 3 summers of constant wear but they still FEEL GREAT- and now I got a black pair). They are like walking on clouds. ☁️I am a size 8 which Telic labels S. With Amazon I just ordered as a woman's 8 and the appropriate pair arrived.
