Pleasant Hearth GHP Group OFW577HC Stratford House Wood Burning Fire Pit

We bought this to extend our outdoor entertaining area into late fall, and so far, it has done just that. It was easy to assemble and looks nice on our patio. The small chimney directs some of the smoke up and away though as with most fires, the smoke does travel. Definitely recommend it.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS! Perfect size and SO nice looking! Was afraid it might be too bog but it’s PERFECT for my area. Plus it came with a BONUS rack for grilling! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Worth every penny. Easy to put together and if you do it right it’s very sturdy.

At the price I didn't have very high expectations, but it arrived intact and following the instructions, it was fairly easy to assemble. I saw all the issues with rust in the comments, so I sprayed all the parts with black engine paint rated to 2000 degrees before assembling them. Connecting the legs, base, posts, screens and top loosely is a must to make it easy to put together. Tightened everything up after it was relatively square and it looks good. Only issue is the bolts for the door hinges; they are way too thin for the hinge tubes and the doors don't stay straight, which shows in the gaps between the doors and the frame. Will look into changing them for something thicker or putting a sleeve inside the tubes. Otherwise, I'm happy with my purchase. Bring on Winter!

So much more sturdy than we'd expected. It was a little bit of a challenge to put together but once we got it, it's been amazing. We were replacing a prior fire pit that we loved and this one just might surpass it. We love the drawer at the bottom to removed the ashes as well as the venting through the chimney. It really draws the smoke up. My previous fire pit wasn't that good at doing that. And, we love the way it's such solid metal. We really love this product.

Metal grate inside melted after two uses, top right door hinge broke off after 3rd use. This has to be taken apart and re-packaged in order to send back for refund.

I wanted a big firepit so this one looked good. However it is too open and the slightest breeze blows embers everywhere. Granted I would not have used ot if I realized it was going to get breezy an hour into the fire.Also you don't feel any warmth because it is so open.I am going to try to make some side panels to protect it a little.

One of the best "fire pits" I've owned. I love it. It's big, has a pull-out ash bin, a rack that you put in to cook in it if you want, a prod for arranging the logs when lit.... And it's really nice looking, with a brushed bronze finish. We love it!!! It's bigger than what we were originally looking for, but it's so nice and so glad I chose this one!!! Definitely recommend!!!
