Can't say enough about Max & Neo Dog Lift sling...what a Godsend for my 12 1/2 year old German Shepherd. We use the sling to help our girl up and down the steps, to help her get up from lying down, and to support her hind legs when she relieves herself, etc. The Max and Neo Dog Lift Support is simply one of the best quality slings I have used or seen out there at a great price. It is extremely durable for even the largest-sized dogs ...we bought the XL for our girl who weighs about 85 + pounds. This heavy-duty sling has a neoprene-lined interior & handles; and durable, water-resistant reinforced outer material. The large Velcro closure keeps the sling comfortably and securely on our dog so we can leave it on her hands-free until we need to assist her. One of the things we love most about the Max and Neo sling (other than the amazing quality) is that the company is amazingly charitable! This company's spirit of giving a free sling to an animal rescue or charity for each one purchased really sealed the deal for us...we felt good about our purchase, even before we received it. Then, once we received our new sling and used it for the first time, we truly knew we had made the right choice! That's why we gave it 5-stars...because rarely in this "disposable world" we live in, do you find a well-made, affordable product that enhances so many lives!

Now I’m not one to discriminate the but all these “under the belly” slings that I have purchased to see which one will fit my male dog only works for females. Like they bunch up by my dogs groin area making it virtually impossible to pee normally. It’s like I’m pushing on his bladder because I have to hold him up when he pees. It works much better when he goes number 2 because they squat a little and this sling holds them up without interfering with it. But for peeing, it’s so uncomfortable. These slings that go under the belling and behind the legs are ONLY meant for female dogs. Wasting my money on this. If you have a male dog(s) go buy slings that hold only the rear legs without interfering with anything. I have found one. But I can’t say it here or amazon will remove this review. And if you only got a female dog well then good for you they will work perfectly because they squat to do both duties which is what these slings are designed for - dogs squatting.

The product itself is very durable, it seems (though it is new to us) However, it feels sturdy and the stitching is well doneI love that it makes my dog look like a purse, which is hilariousNow for the serious stuff - my dog has degenerative myelopathy and so he is steadily getting worse Since it impacts his hind legs, and he will lose his balance and fall while pooping (into his poop), this is very helpful so far with that aspectHowever, it has one significant flaw - for male dogs (and I measured him before buying to get the right size) it will shift as he is walking or if we have to hoist him by his own petard to prevent a poop-fall WHICH MEANS their genitals get under it and he will pee into the deviceso then I have to come home and clean up the pee from the inside of the harnessI would give it a 2 1/2 stars but can't - great idea and well made, but we came back soaked after a walk today - kept sliding back and he'd pee into itIt is still better than cleaning up poop when he falls into it, but I would think the product could be manufactured with a gap on the underside so male dogs don't pee into the harness: don't know if others have had this issue, but it is my lone complaint (other than my dog having a degenerative nerve disease akin to ALS)

I have a large Lab that weighs 110 lbs. My husband and I found him at nine weeks on the side of the road. He has been ours for thirteen years. He has bad arthritis in his hips and sat down one day and would not get up. My husband travels so I had to call him to drive home because I could not get Bosco up. His pain medicine was increased so he will walk but it is difficult. This lift support from Max & Neo has taken the one fear I have of not being able to get him up the next time away. It is well made and will give Bosco support and comfort when he needs it. I highly recommend to all. Thank you Max & Neo for donating to a rescue.

This is an amazing lift support. Our 85lb lab uses it daily and it does not rub his skin raw and is very comfortable on him. The veterinarian at University of Georgia said it was the best ones she has seen come through the hospital and would even start recommending it to other patients.

This is really a great harness. Very easy to get around my 14 year old Aussie. She is very arthritic and has trouble holding her rear legs up and she keeps sitting down. With this harness I can help her up the stairs and on walks. Now she and I have a very easy time.. Great harness and great price

This sling is fine to do the job, and I appreciate that the company helps out rescue dogs. The sling is stiffer than I would have liked. I ordered a medium based on the guidelines and should have been well within that size, but it barely came together to fasten, and she is 22 inches around.. (I didn't want to sqeeze her middle) Keep in mind the handles on this are not adjustable, and for ours we do have to bend over to hold them. This is an advantage when she wears it around the house, as I would be concerned about tripping her if they were longer. The item seems to be very well made.
