Disclaimer I took this photo after being caught in the rain...But the dress was very nice And I receive Alot of Compliments..I am 5'2 and the dress size is a 3X in this photo I am 220lbs. Very light weight almost like a linen feel. One thing it is hard to press out the wrinkles from shipping....Not a problem for me I am getting another color...Love It💜 I did buy the gloves also from Amazon.

I'm writing (and ordered) this on my boyfriends account since I don't have one. The print is beautiful, the material is nice. The sewing is well done. There aren't any straggling strings, the zipper is sewed and secured in there well. The only problem is the chest is too big and the waist is well but only just by a bair. It's bagging up around the shoulder area and the neckline is sagging. I'm a 38C bra size, 5'4 and 165 pounds. I would definitely size down or go with the other brand that offers this same print but with a boat neckline. I ordered a petticoat to put under it but that didn't work out lol. I'd say if you wanted a nice full dress then order a petticoat that doesn't stick out right at the waist. Order the petticoat that fits on your stomach and then at the hips the tulle sticks out. Don't make my mistake, trust me it looks bad.The dress is exactly as pictured. Just a tad see through when the light goes through it but nothing a slip or petticoat won't fix.

I adore 50's style dresses and this one fits the bill to a tee. It fits as expected, I ordered my normal size and I was not disappointed It didn't pinch my arms as I was worried it would and even though I have a long torso, it didn't sit weird on my body as a lot of dresses do. The little ribbon it comes with to make the bow was a nice addition, I could take that or leave it, but it does kind of "complete the look" of the 50's I think. It has nice pleats in the skirt that give it that extra something. It breathes well and fits well and I am planning on getting a couple more in other colors for my next cruise :)

Cute but the armpit hold is small so keep rubbing which is very annoying. Also the chest area looks weird and hikes up

Fits true to size I wear a 10/12 depending on how it fits. For the full effect you have to add the skirt underneath. Yes I have one on. Otherwise this dress does not stand out.

I ordered a 2XL and the bust for the 2XL says 41.8", so I thought I would have a little bit of extra room. I have more than that. I am one of those people who has to shop for my boobs and not for the rest of my body, so I am not surprised that it is a bit bigger all over. But the bust is bigger than 41.8" I think. But the fabric is beautiful, and the colors are very true to the picture. I think I could have gotten away with an XL, due the 'give' of the fabric, but I am a good seamstress so I will just take it in a little in a few places and it will be just fine. I was wearing a bright floral bra and neon underwear and you can't even tell unless you press the fabric up close. You could totally get away with nude colored underwear and be just fine. A beautiful cloth sash came with the dress, although I forgot to put it on in the photos. This dress came to right below my knees, and has beautiful swing to it. I will pair with a petticoat and it will look amazing. All in all, will order again but maybe one size down.

I purchased this dress for my (almost) 14 year old daughter in two colors. The fit is so flattering and I think would work well for most body types. I love that the neckline is not too low, which is something we really struggle with trying to find modest necklines. For reference, my daughter is 5 foot and around 115 pounds and she is wearing the XS.I took off a star for the material- as you can see from the picture, it wrinkles very badly. To be fair, this was straight out of the bag when I took this picture. If you get it out of the dryer as soon as it’s finished, you might can avoid this wrinkled mess. You will have to steam it or iron it the first time, though. I didn’t love the color of this dress (lavender) even though I normally like that color. Since the dress is so simple, I felt like the pale solid color combined with simple style made it seem kind of drab. (Just my personal opinion- it’s a nice classic style, though). I purchased this in a flower pattern too and really loved that one, so I am keeping that pattern and sending the lavender one back. Be sure to check the bag to make sure the belt came with it. My flower patterned one was missing the belt. The price was a little on the high side considering how simple the design is… but the flattering fit made it a winner for me. My daughter wore the flower one for Easter and looked so pretty and I could tell she felt pretty, too, so I would say that’s a winner for a self-conscious teenage girl.
