RC Sonic SSAS R2 Car with Lights, Blue (614)

I bought this for my 5 year old daughter in a store and once it was out of the package we saw how cool looking it was and was very fun to play with. I bought a few more hoping to get the identical one from the store and luckily all of them were the exact same model. The steering didn’t work for one of the cars but was able to return the car and get an exchange the next day. The new car worked perfectly.

I bought two of these. I have twin grandsons they both wanted one. They are seven and loved the cars. One of the remote controls antenna broke into two pieces it pulls up three times it broke once at the top and then again in the middle. My Grandson was sad but still in lived his Sonic car. The remote control antena's need to be more durable.

This NKOK RC Sonic SSAS R2 Car with Lights was a gift for my son on his 7th birthday. He is all about Sonic the Hedgehog right now. I'm not sure where he saw it, but all of a sudden he wants nothing but Sonic. However, Sonic isn't really popular right now. There is the pending "live-action" Sonic movie, but that has been pushed back from November to Winter/Spring of 2020 so any tie-in toys will also probably be pushed back. So, this RC car was the only thing I could really find that wasn't exorbitantly priced. This currently priced at $27, but I would say it's really not worth more than $20. It's really light weight and does not come with batteries. So, keep that in mind when you are giving this as a gift. The car and the remote both need batteries. AA and AAA. Sonic is part of the car. He does not come out. And this operates just like any other R/C car. There's nothing special about it other than it is Sonic. The headlights turn on when going forward and turn off when in reverse. My so has launched this off the porch and into the front yard several times. It's only about 6 inches down from the porch to the ground, so I doubt there's any real damage, but I would caution against doing that from any heights above that. However, I would say that he has played with this for a couple minutes and then moved onto something else. Without any other bells and whistles, the hold factor for this toys wasn't very long. Keep in mind while my son loves Sonic, he doesn't play the video games or do much on electronic devices. So, he actually plays with toys most of his day. So, I think this is a nice, cute gift, but I think it is a bit over priced.

I bought this for my step son cause he is a huge sonic fan and has a sonic collection. Sadly, the antenna came off the controller and now it’s nowhere to be found. He really likes playing with it and now he is sad cause it’s useless. I hope you can provide a replacement antenna for this one.
