POWERTEC 70002 Clear Plastic Dust Collection Bags, 20-Inch x 43-Inch | Dust Collector Bags for machine with 20” Filter Drum, 5 count, Pack of 1

I purchased a small WEN dust collector to only use for my 14" euro style band saw. Due to the size of my main dust collector I didn't have enough power to reach the saw in my shop. The problem with that WEN collector is the 35 micron bag which might as well not be there at that level of filtration, it's certainly not protecting you from anything. I found this Powertec bag that was similar dimension to the WEN piece but at 5 microns it is much safer for air quality in the shop. The opening is a bit big for the WEN collector but if you put a fold in it and clamp it, it works really great. The WEN collector is a perfect small collector at a great price. Pair it with this bag and you've got a nice little system.

Purchased these for my 2hp Harbor Freight dust collector. Bags are heavy duty,not an exact fit but no problem overlapping a small fold before clamping in place. Never been able to find a replacement bag at HF. 8/6/2018 - I see that bags size 19-1/2" x 41" are now available. I think this is the correct size for the Harbor Freight dust collector and I will try these next time. The 20x43 was the only ones available at the time I purchased these but I do have to make an overlap fold to make a good seal but this is not a big issue. I don't know the thickness of these bags but they are heavy duty and you will not be disappointed. Also if you have the HF dust collector the Powertec 70001 Dust Collector Bag, 20-x 31 is a 1 micron bag (cloth filter bag on top of the cyclone) and you can tell the difference compared to the original HF filter. Of course you can buy the better canister type filter but they are expensive.

This is a well made product and I suspect it is capable of providing the filtration level claimed. The problem is that this bag does not snugly fit the outlet on the Grizzly wall mount dust collector for which it was purchased. This bag has a 5-1/2” opening while the Grizzly has a 5” outlet. It will fit but loosely and would require it be folded over to clamp to the outlet. The loose fit would, in many respects, defeat the purpose of the high efficiency filtration rating. It should be noted that the product has a check fit option on the product page and it confirms that the product will fit. I recommend that buyers closely check dimensions and decide if a loose fit is acceptable for their application.

The quality of the bag and the seam stitching looks great. We have a lot of home building going on around us and dry climate with lots of dust outside. I am using this filter bag in by basement attached to the existing 6 inch round air duct that brings outside air inside for the furnace and gas water heater. It needed a bit of stretching to fit over the 6 inch round duct - obviously not the manufacturer's intended use but it works great and less costly than other alternatives. I can smell the fresh air coming through the bag and no more worries about dust coming in.

Great Quality and Perfect Fit! I have been purchasing and using the Powertec 70002 Clear Dust Collection Bags for some time, and I’m very impressed. These bags are thick and durable—much better than the flimsy ones I’ve used before. The 5 mil plastic feels strong and resists tearing, even when the bag is full of heavy dust and chips.

The first order didn't arrive. I suspect it was damaged somewhere in shipping and was returned to the warehouse. I gave it a second try and this time it was delivered on time. I'm glad I re-ordered because these are good bags. At 5 mil thickness they are as good or better than the one that came with my 2hp harbor freight dust collector. The diameter was a little large, but I folded the extra and applied duct tape to seal around the entire top edge before putting the metal band on. I have a dust separator inline with my dust collector so I expect they will last quite a while in my small basement workshop.

I bought this to try on a Dewalt DW735 planer. The planer has a powerful chip ejection fan. I attached this bag using a cable tie and a 4" dust collection hose. Fast, easy, and non-permanent. It would be best to use a 4" to 5" adapter and a ring clamp, but the cable tie works just fine. The chips fly straight into this bag and there is almost no dust in the air. This is a great option if you don't have a dedicated dust collector. Another benefit is that it can be folded up and stored away. With this you don't have another trash can or other container taking up valuable space. My only complaint with this is that it doesn't have a zipper. That would make emptying chips much easier. Chips go in and out the same way. This bag is kind of small. It's about the size of a 13 gallon trash can, so if you are running a LOT of boards, you will have to empty often. This is a good cheap option for the Dewalt planer while you are saving up for a real dust collector. 5 stars.

I use these in my Delta cyclone dust collector as the main collection bag. Fit's right into the barrel. I can't but the bags from Delta for some reason, it's only 5 years old and can't find parts so I found these that fit even better. Heavy plastic and they last. Changed mine after ~30 fills before it developed a small tear and that was most likely me being careless. Probably could have gotten more use if I was more careful. I'll be buying more to stock up.

I was hesitant since this will come overseas but after using this is much thicker in material and much cleaner than the original that came with my mini dust collector. I'll buy again

Used on my dewalt planer DW735-XE the mouth is larger than what I required but managed to tighten it up around the outlet. The weight of the bag is heavy too so I have had to support it when in use. I think i should have tried to use a pillow case first to see how that captured the dust. This bag has no zip for quick emptying.

Very nice product but if you have allergies like myself don't consider tying it down to 4". I put a 4" to 5" adaptor on my machine to get a decent seal.

My dust collector came with a 30 micron bag, and dust was visibly coming through during use. This replacement is much thicker, and finer. No visible dust blowing by, and I haven't noticed any decrease in pressure from the dust collector. There is no zipper, but I was able to empty it a few times from the opening without issue. I suspect a zipper would allow more dust to blow by, so I don't find it to be a drawback. This was the best upgrade I could have done, and I consider it money very well spent.
