Rico Industries NFL LED Power Decal

--- UPDATE 09/2019 --- Got a new Packers PowerDecal. It works. but the clips are worthless. I want to order some new clips, but cannot find any. Therefore making the PowerDecal useless. I dropped my rating from 3 to 2 because of the problem.*** UPDATE *** I used a different mounting tape and it now works as advertised I get asked about regularly by people in parking lots and that makes showing my loyalty to the Packers well worth it!---I think the idea behind this is absolutely great. I love it, except for one major problem. If you don't have a vertical glass surface, as in a back window of a truck (and maybe a SUV), it will not remain attached to the glass. I has a four door sedan and it will not remain attached to the rear window which is at a probably 45-degree angle. I have tried numerous ways to reattach this Power Decal, but no luck I give up. Not sure what I am going to do with it, but right now it is just a piece of Packer decoration in my house.I sure would like to know if there is any way to attach this to my rear window (which has window tinting on it as it is really needed here in southern Arizona) so I could again place it in my car. Or maybe I might just have to break down and purchase a 2nd Power Decal and place them in the far rear side windows on each side of the car. But then, would opening and closing the doors cause them to become detached again? Seems like a no-win situation.For those reasons I cannot rate this unit any higher. I would love to give it a 5-star rating, but how can I under the circumstances?

I'm a HUGE Kansas City Chiefs fan since I'm a KC native transplanted in the middle of Cowboy country. I love this thing as it's sitting on the back glass of my truck. I like how while the car is moving and if it's dark enough for the photo cell to make the unit come on it, shines bright. Bright enough to show you're a fan but not too bright. It even comes with extra mounting brackets just in case you have to move it from one vehicle to another.I liked it so much I bought 5 more for my friends and family and even bought a Cowboys one for my unfortunate friend. Great product!----UPDATED 09/26/2016----Well the one that I purchased finally died after 4 years so I ordered a new one. Well I received it in a smaller mailer, when I opened it I was shocked. The original packaging was ripped cut, ripped open and the unit itself had the decal inside out and was missing the mounting clips. I was irritated, shocked and immediately went to Amazon to return and replace it.Fast forward to today, I received it a couple days ago in MUCH better packaging and it was still in the original packaging. I opened it and noticed a couple things.1.) The decal was inside out again? Ummm really? QC should be fired. The decal had a dent in the mylar plastic logo about 3/4 inch long which was irritating as well. I had to take it apart, flip the decal and put it back together. Not a big deal but really guys? It's not like the you can't see that it's clearly WRONG.2.) The batteries are very loose as the spring isn't robust enough and if you take the battery cover off and turn it upside down the batteries will fall out. I adjusted the springs the best I could to elongate them but they still fall out with the slightest shake.3.) The mounting clips are much different. Bigger and maybe better for those people who have angled rear windows unlike my Ford F-150 SuperCrew which has a pretty vertical rear window. I hope they work well.All in all I love the product I just wished that the quality control was better and that they didn't make them nearly as cheaply made.

I just LOVE this "sticker". I put that in quotes because it's not a whole sticker, but a thing that gets stuck to the inside of your window. There are 2 brackets that the LED decal sits in that actually get stuck on the inside of the window. It comes with batteries - an awesome thing for a company to include! It works as described and don't worry if you have tinted windows - It can be seen nicely through the tint in the dark! You can remove the larger part of the sticker for when the season is over and the brackets will stay on the window. It is motion activated and it turns off by itself after a few minutes of being idle. I love it!

I love it. It's really bright and very eye catching. However, the background is silver, not blue. While I'm not worried about it, I believe Amazon should change the picture for this item. Otherwise this would be 5 stars. Additionally, make sure you are very careful about it's position when you put it on your window. You only get one chance. Unfortunately, mine is a little nose down. That's not the seller's fault, though. That was me being hasty. I'm sure there are ways to correct it, like getting some new 3M tape for the brackets, but I like the fact that the mounting bracket tape is black and blends in.

My husband and I have a mixed marriage; He's from New York, I am from Chicago....Jets/Bears. It is a fun rivalry and our neighbors get a kick out of seeing these decals parked next to each other in our driveway. The decals were easy to get started and install in the back windows of our vehicles. I actually met someone in a restaurant parking lot who followed me for 3 blocks in hopes I would stop so he could ask me where I got my Bears decal. Found out his family and mine have friends in common and now have some new Bears fans when we go to our local sports bar to watch the games. Am ordering more for family members for fun birthday gifts.

This is my second one. The first one lasted about 4 years which I think is great! I've learned is to replace the batteries every 6 months regardless of the need. They will explode. Mine exploded 3 times. This first 2 times I was able to clean it with rubber gloves and an alcohol pad and it actually worked! After 4 years of extreme heat/cold and sun, the logo plate will fade so getting 4 good years out of it was worth the money. The second one is going strong! Works as expected, get it, you'll love it! GO Pack!
