I purchased several of these, I have several cages with large birds in them. I put these near their food dishes, so they have something comfortable to stand on while they eat. These are great for larger birds, and I like the twist on cape, making them more sturdy for the birds. Great product for the money, will definitely buy again.

While I can't yet review how much my bird likes or dislikes the product (she's still weaning) I can at least review the product itself. The rope is tightly wound giving it a lot of support. The two connectors were very nicely designed and fit my 3/4" bar-spaced cage perfectly. The 28" Large perch was just long enough to make a nice loop in my cage and is thick enough for an African Grey to sit on comfortably. The packaging seems to imply Macaws, but I personally find it too small for their feet and may even buckle a bit under their weight. Either way, it is well constructed and well designed in the regard to attaching to a cage. I think this can add some fun and exciting new perch designs in a cage allowing our birdies to climb and enjoy the different texture (assuming they don't decide its a chew toy).

Bought 4 of these for my two cockatiel cages. They are amazingly well built and securely attach to any cage. The only problem I personally have with them is that the adapter where it attaches to the cage might be a bit too large for cages with half inch or less gap between bars meaning I had to use some force to get them to go in but it is a fairly minor complaint and basically a non-issue. As far as size goes, I bought the Large 28inch and the thickness of the perch caught me a bit off guard but my cockatiels seem to move around on it and whatnot just fine. The medium sized perches might of been a more appropriate choice though but I can't complain, large seems to work fine for them too. Would def buy again if I needed to.

I have parakeets and they are often gathered in groups on this perch. It keeps its shape pretty well when you bend it but is also easy to bend so that's cool. I thought it was really weird that the company sent me a free dog treat along with dog food coupons considering I ordered only a bird product and have no dogs. Overall great perch, my birds use it frequently and have decided it's a great place to rub their heads when they have pin feathers.

Liked it was the size advertised and thickness I needed.

Great perch but gotta watch what kind of birds you are buying for. My Moluccan Too dismantled it within weeks of purchase. Actually bit thorough he rope right at the connector. Wasted my money there. Going to stick with Manzanita for the big guys.

These are GREAT perches and my Timneh Grey loves them, I have to keep a spare on hand though because he does chew them up at the end sometimes and then they fall off the plastic end caps. Sometimes I ties the ends back up around the cage bars to get extra life out of them. Anyway, they are good foot excercise and comfy for his birdie toes to grab. I have other tryoesof perches in the cage as well but he really loves these Booda ropes and I can twist them and reconfigure them as well.

I searched to make sure I had the right sized perch for my birds cage and had high hopes for this one. Imagine my birds’ (and my) disappointment upon discovering, within a day of installing, that one end of the perch came free from its plastic housing, exposing a tempting wad of glue gun excretion that fortunately, my bird did not ingest. Please see the attached photos of the damage and the outraged umbrella cockatoo. I’m not going to bother returning this and instead will drill a non-toxic hole in the end cap and fabricate a different way to ensure that my bird is safe with this perch in his cage. Would not recommend unless you’re adept at refitting.

My rats use this more often then their own ramps, it takes a bit to flex it the way you want but worth it!

My Alexandrine loves to perch on this and also rip it to shreds. I've got it set up in a sine-like curve in her cage and it spans the whole thing while still being curvy. I don't know how sturdy it would be for a heavier bird like an amazon or a grey but for an alexandrine it does just the trick.

All my birds love these perches, all colors and sizes work great. It's their favourite bedtime perch!

since its quite thick. can work with medium sized parrots and smaller,but they wont have a natural grip,i think. good to have different width perches though,as it permits the bird to use its feet differently. try to have at least 2-3 different perches,material,width,and position wise.
