Good for toddlers
These caps are good for toddlers. I love life factory bottles so they are good to use on the bottles after the nipple top phase. The only issue is that if my toddler drops the glass bottle.....the bottle itself holds up but this cap will break. Otherwise these are good.

I know people say these caps break easily but I’ve owned them for quite some time and I’ve had no issue. Both my toddler and infant use them. They drop these bottles all the time. Only one issue is you do have to open the cap up frequently and remove the rubber and retighten it so the flow continues. Not a big issue for me

CRACK EASILY: we’ve gone through TEN caps (5 sets)
These are terrible bottle caps. I have ordered them 5x in the past two years (that’s ten caps), and every single one has broken. They haven’t gotten lost. They’ve cracked and become unusable with the slightest drop (my two year old, like most, isn’t tall.) Amazon, kindly, has replaced 1 set, but of course, I had to call customer service and go through that rigamarole...would rather the caps simply not break. We do have slate floors, but they are only sometimes the location of the fall. Almost any drop on any floor save carpet can crack these caps, but the bottles survive. In fact, we’ve only broken and replaced ONE bottle compared to the TEN caps. And that’s because it fell from my shoulder height while I was carrying my son over the slate floor. Needless to say, it’s pretty pitiful how easily the caps break. I suspect it’s because the plastic is BPA free, which I appreciate and is one of the reasons why I keep buying them. The other reason I’m beholden to this awful cap is because my two year old latched on to this particular bottle brand as his lovey— cute except now I’ve spent $45 in caps alone and need more so he can sleep tonight. Please send me more, Amazon. And please redesign these, Lifefactory— they are the worst. I wish I’d saved and photographed each one: they break almost the same way in a spiral every time. I even finally bought another color (kale) to see if it was intrinsic to the blues. Nope. They all do it.

Worked great but broke easily
These helped my child transition away from the bottle nipple. Though, broke easily when hit against a hard surface. If your child likes pouring water out of their bottle, they will like this. We weren’t able to figure out the anti spill gasket so didn’t use it.

Break way too easily
We’ve been using Life Factory water bottles for ages, so it was a natural fit to get Life Factory baby bottles when we had our little one. We’ve had no problems until getting to the sippy cup stage... These things break super easily! Literally, a one-foot drop has shattered these caps on many occasions. Probably at least a dozen have already been recycled due to breaking. The bottles are always fine, though. We’ve always loved Life Factory and are still using their sippy cup tops, but I would highly recommend having plenty of back-ups!

Not leak proof still great!
I mean, remove the silicone insert or nothing comes out! Lol these aren’t spill proof but they don’t leak when used upright or while drinking if that makes sense. If you turn upside down they will trickle water out as well as if they are on their side. These should be used with supervision if your child is like mine. He gorilla slams his bottles and he loves to pour water onto surfaces and even spit/leaks water out of his mouth onto his shirt so much I could die! But yeah it beats metal or plastic bottles. I prefer that it weren’t a plastic Sippy cap, but I can’t find anything better. The bottles hold up under pressure and all wash easy! Good luck!

Love the glass bottles but the tops are not great
Had these tops for few weeks before they started showing wear ( kind of shredded pieces of plastic—I guess from baby teething on them.) Didn’t want her swallowing plastic, so I returned for new ones. They came very quickly, which is great. But something is wrong with the threading and they don’t screw on to the bottles. Back to using the old ones with pieces of lose plastic hanging off of them. I still prefer these bottles to plastic bottles but I wish there was enough consistency that new tops fit on the bottles. Oh, and baby threw the bottle today so one of the old tops cracked. I don’t necessarily expect them to hold up to throwing since you gotta compromise somewhere to get away from plastic. But not sure what I’ll do next. I have two new tops that don’t screw on, one old top with plastic shreddings. Maybe return again and hope the threading on new tops is better?

No Issues for us!
I researched these caps for several months before actually taking a chance and getting them despite all the negative reviews. I have had no serious problems with them. I’ve had the caps for over a month now and they have been washed over a dozen times, no issues! In my experience all sippy cup lids/caps “leak”. For the most part these do not unless my child leaves a little liquid in the spout of it. I’ve had bottles laying on their sides or upside down for quite some time and no leak issues. There is a rubber type valve in the cap, some reviewers have stated that they removed it I did not. This is what helps the caps NOT leak. When you take the rubber valve out of the plastic cap the top of it has a small slit in it. While washing them before 1st use, I pinched the opening of it to kind of unstick it. When I put it back together I sucked through the cap to see if it had an easy flow & it was perfect, my toddler has no issues. It might make more sense if you purchase them. All in all, I’m super happy with my purchase.

Great transition from bottles with a nipple. My 3 year old STILL loves the sippy cap because it means she can lay down with it. These are super durable and dishwasher safe too!
