The Battery & Charger combo is a great deal. In researching the use of LiFePO4 batteries for fishing (trolling motors) I found out that conventional brush type motors (90% of what is out there) do NOT recommend the use of Lithium batteries because they count on the discharge rate of lead acid batteries (declining terminal voltage) to lower the power dissipation in the motor. If you use this battery with a brush type motor, running it at over 80% of maximum for an extended period will damage the motor. However you can purchase a Brush-less DC (65lb thrust) salt /fresh water motor from Amazon which will work great. The brush-less motor has a thermal regulator, which will dial back the power delivered to the motor so it won't overheat. Also, brush-less motors don't have the wear issues of a conventional motor.

I bought this battery to drive a CPAP with heated humidifier. I needed a battery to be able to provide 10 hours of power with no loss of pressure and humidification and have enough capacity to do it every night, and be fully charged by the next night in a 10-12 hour charging window.Works spectacularly.

Works out box. No problems.

I've been out fishing with my twin electric motors boat 3 times since purchasing this battery. I have the Twintroller x10 boat with twin 45 lb thrust electric motors. The first two fishing trips were 6 to 7 hrs each. The last time out I stayed out on the water a full 9 hrs. I was on and off the electric motors all day long each trip. This battery provided me with full power to my twin electric motors all day long. I am really impressed! This battery's expensive, but with a 8 yr full warranty, and this kind of performance, I think it's worth it.

I was impressed by the Victron charger, I use that now for all my other batteries too and even used the recovery mode to rescue three batteries that had previously seemed unusable. The Battleborn lithium battery is nice too, but praise is tempered by the high cost. Battery value won't be known for several years.
