8715 Children's Stuffed Animal Dragon Toy Sewing Patterns by Beezee Art, One Size Only

When I cut out the pattern pieces, I realized some of the pieces (tail end and legs) would be too small for my not so nimble fingers. I enlarged the pieces by 140% and made a mock up to test fitting. It actually came out pretty good and I am pleased with it. Looking forward to making the actual.

Excellent instructions, clear guidelines. Recommend reading them thoroughly a few times. I’m an advanced craftsman and I found it helpful to double check multiple times. Very clever regarding how the legs are attached. I will be doing embroidery work for the eyes, mouth and nose to add a bit more expression. I find eye buttons not to be satisfactory. The package suggests plush fleece Minky, I strongly suggest you buy it on Amazon because I looked at five stores here in Boise and they average anywhere from $18-$24 a yard. I could have chosen to use a regular fleece, however, I liked the Minky fleece the best. When I’m done, I will take pictures and update my review.

I made several these as gifts to my friends, unfortunately I did not take a lot of photos. I will say i did the dragon style and it took about 3-5 hours each one. I would not recommend for absolutely beginners but I am also semi a beginner, but Im ok with things not being perfect. The size is great and they do fit on the shoulders. If you do this I highly recommend you use fleece or mink fleece as they are easy to work with.

This pattern for dragons looks neat and the dragon turned out great once I figured out the directions. The directions ere hard to follow and could have been more detail not only with words but with the drawings.

I'm a beginner so my dragon isn't perfect but I think with practice this pattern will be great!! I still ended up with a cute Lil guy.

I like the easy to ready instructions

I bought this for my 16 year old, and she absolutely loves it. It's a fairly easy pattern, and turns out really nice. She has made about half a dozen dragons in multiple colors of plain cotton fabric, fleece, and flannel. It all works great.
