Idatalink PAC ADS Data Immobilizer Bypass Module (ADSTB)

Product works really well, it has been more than 6 months working without any problem, this unit was installed with Autopage 1100 remote starter / car alarm module, and yes this was a DIY professionally installed :) on my Tacoma 2011. It took me more than 25hrs to get everything together and finished the installation, yup it took alot of time to research all those wire connection locations on the truck.( actual installation about 7hrs with the alarm), I am loving it!, no more too hot or too cold when getting into the car.

The installation instructions were not very well translated. They were also incomplete. Not for DIY if you run into any problems whatsoever.

I have installed 3 remote starters on my 3 vehicles, and this one should have been the quickest and easiest. How ever it was not.I installed it on a 2014 F-250 Superduty truck. The installion of the remote starter went as planned, smoothly. However after installing the Idatalink TB immobilizer I had a heck of a time programing it to simulate a key. After flashing the unit there was an screen that stated that the manual was incorrect and at step 8 to not follow the manual but to do a new method. I follow the new instruction to a tee but the unit would not accept the program. I tried to followed the original method but it did not work either. I tried to follow the type two method but it also resulted in an fail program. After dozens of attempts, and since it was on a weekend and Tech support would not be available until Monday, I decided to do some experiment on my own. I succeeded to get it programed by inserting key #1 and turning it on BEFORE I beginning the programming process.This is a 1 year old truck and there is not a lot of help on the internet with other people that has had problems programing this unit. I hope my experience will help someone else.I will buy this unit again, but hopefully install it on a 3 or 4 year old vehicle, so the bugs will be worked out...

Installed on a 1998 Honda Accord EX with an Excalibur RS360EDP+ Remote Start. Install was a breeze. Programming took like 5 mins and was pretty simple. Just choose the correct firmware and flash (Need an idatalink or omega usb programming cable). Install was pretty simple. Just 4 wires needed to be connected to the car and the data cable to the remote start. I would definitely purchase again and recommend to a friend.

Good price quick service but it did not work for the vehicle intended

Way to much trouble for all the wiring that had to be done and the people I talked to said throw it away.

Programming worked first time without a hitch. This beats those cheaper modules that require a key inside by a country mile.

Worked well with my 2010 Ford truck.

I have used these bypasses a lot. Work good.

Parts are missing from the item and is not programmed and customer service is terrible from seller
