A short-term rental essential for compliance and peace of mind
As a short-term rental manager, this safety film is a must-have for meeting property compliance standards, especially in units with large windows or glass doors. It’s clear, strong, and easy to install, providing an added layer of protection without changing the look of the space. We’ve used it in multiple properties to help meet local safety requirements and give guests (and owners) extra peace of mind. Durable, invisible once applied, and easy to cut to size — exactly what we needed. Highly recommend for any STR owner or manager who wants to elevate guest safety and meet insurance or regulatory standards without sacrificing style.

Overall a great purchase.
I'm very glad I bought this and installed it myself. You can't even tell you have the film on the window. Great quality product and value. Only issue is, although it's easy to install it's also hard NOT to get bubbles stuck in the film. I'll have to order more to redo one of my windows. But feels great having extra security protection on my window!!

Install is Key.
Great clarity, unless there is debris. No matter how clean your windows are, static attracts debris to the product backing. Laying the product against the window before peeling off the backing (to check size, for example), will transfer debris back to your clean window. We had success with the following technique using two people: 1. Pre-cut the pieces to be slightly larger than your window by about an inch in length and an inch in width. Then clean widow very well, preferably with a cloth that will not leave fibers behind. 2. Spray window very generously (until drippy) with mixture of 16 oz. water plus 6 drops dish soap. We found that using a continuous spray water bottle was very helpful. 3. Use two pieces of tape to initially separate the film from the backing at one corner. Fingerprints can transfer to the adhesive, so spray the corners (or the edge you plan to touch/hold) immediately after you peel the backing off to help prevent fingerprints under the film. 4. Person One holds the edges of the product while Person Two peels the backing HALFWAY DOWN the film and sprays the exposed adhesive until drippy. This ensures that only the very clean surface from under the backing will touch your glass. 5. Person One then places the film against the glass, leaving overage on one side. We found it to be helpful to leave a very small space between the edge of the film and the window frame so that the film would not get caught against the glass as bubbles are squeegeed out. If the film and your window were both heavily sprayed, you should be able to slide the film around to get placement right. 6. Squeegee from middle of sticky area out to edges. Cut access with a razor blade. We used the hard side of the squeegee that came with it as a straight edge. The product may shift a bit in step 7, but you'll simply slide it back in place if it does. 7. Person one holds this top half in place while Person Two peels off the bottom half of the backing and sprays it down. Don't let the product crease while removing the remaining backing. Slide product back to where you want it if it has shifted. 8. Trim bottom edge with razor if needed, again, leaving a very small gap from window frame. 8. Squeegee from center out; really get the edges good as this is where all the bubbles from the center work their way out. Voila!

Not the safety product expected
I ordered this product as it says that it's a safety product for windows, but it is only for INTERIOR windows; if you have double pane windows, it cannot be installed on the exterior window. Once I got the hang of it, it was easy enough to place; however, even though there were no bubbles in the film the following day, it just didn't look very good. Will probably remove it as the window looks blotchy.

Excellent Quality
I have applied lots of film over the years. This ranks at the top, if you follow the below instructions and the glass is flat. 1. Clean the glass thoroughly with alcohol or other product. 2. Use two pieces of tape to pull the film and the covering apart. 3. Spray lots of soapy water on both the glass and the sticky side of the film. LOTS. You can't really over-do it. 4. Use the provided squeegee.

Great adherence
I used on shower doors. Film has stayed adhered and in place for 5 years now. No issues.

Wow! The thickness is incredible. Surprisingly much easy to manage use than the Homie Dep*t window film, those ones are much thinner a little trickier to manage because they're thin and flimsy in my opinion. Key points: have everything ready. Windows measured, cleaned areas clean and dust free. Measure at least twice. I consider myslef experience i only gave myself 0.5 inch wiggle room over the exact dimensions. Cut the excess using a metal edge ruler pressed close to the edge of the window lessens/ eliminates the exacto knife from sliding and miss cutting. When cutting. Have a piece of cardboard under the film (sticky side faces inside the roll tube). Easier if you use a metal straight edge to press the knife against and slice. Wet wet wet that window and wet again. Can apply both window on the floor or in place. Applying on the floor os easier than vertical. When applying vertical, I peel the top corners down about 1/4 sticky side exposed. I stick to verticle window as straight dead on as possible. Make sure that window is wet! Also have paper towel handy. Once the top two corners stick, with one hand hold the film away from the glass, the other peel off the thin sheet. Once peeled off wet that window again as high as you can all the way down and slowly apply. The film is easier to move around over the window when wet/ lubricated. Once film is on place, cut off excess. The use the squeegee to push out the air bubbles to the edges - use paper towel to soak up excess soapy water. These are my trial and error tips that work for me. Follow the instructions Up to 36 maybe 48 wide is manganese for 1 person. You'll need help of working with larger sheets. Good luck. This product is pricey, the quality is well above big box retailers.

Great value. Useful size.

It was easy to install and eliminate any troublesome bubbles. Gives us a little extra piece of mind in an area where there have been more break-ins and we would like.

Rather disappointed. Have used window films before and never had a problem. Followed instructions with this and it went on perfect. Next day bubbles appeared and looked terrible. I hoped it would sort itself out as it dried but it didn't.
